Yh, anything is allowed, as long as it fits within the rules of the jam. But 2d, 2.5d, 3d and whatever perspective you wanna create is definitely allowed

Well, it's a really nice improvement for me compared to previous game jams. Though the rating weren't really what I expected, but I'm fine with it and I'm glad people enjoyed my game, the ratings and the feedback confirmed that.

And at the end of the day, it's not really the ratings that matter, it's the process, being able to finish a game in a week, put it out there and people actually enjoying it.

For me the first few days we're tough cos I was demotivated and out of ideas, but I kept pushing on and I'm really happy with the end result cos people enjoyed the game.
