i really loved the mechanic of the being able to propel yourself with the gun. i really really think it should be slightly more forgiving though! What i mean is that the spikes should have some leeway in terms of spacing, so maybe the player could have a smaller hitbox! Celeste is a great example of giving leeway to the player to help them rather then make the player feel frustrated because it was off by just a pixel. Overall great game and concept! Cats & YarnLove this game! Fantastic precision platformer and level design. Managed to finish it with a bottom of the leaderboard score but had a blast. I can definitely see where speed running was kept in mind and it would be lots of fun for a longer game.
I like how there's no air strafing and you have to learn the jump distance. I like how the levels are designed for the jump distance when tapping w and d (I assume or I look silly). Made me feel like how I felt when I played celeste.

MeowdyNice speedrun game. I was in the funbase alpha stream watching them play it!
I think it would feel better if you could control your horizontal movement in the air better and if the gunshots gave more consistent boosts to your momentum so it would feel easier to control your jumps. The game felt responsive overall and I appreciate you making the cat a square so it would be easier to work with collisions hahah. Cute design of the cat.
Also, the music was great and played up the theme of the game, and made the game more enjoyable.
