The syringe/gun mechanics was really neat, it was fun to steal enemy abilities Kirby-style in a shooter like this.

Visually this was really solid, too.

Very original take on the theme and the type of gun you have depending on what type of blood you drain is a really great touch. I did find it a bit laggy on the web version and it seemed like the melee attack would not always go off but that was a fairly minor detail. I did find it a bit hard as well but that way be user error more than anything else. The UI is fantastic though, having the gun visually show what your ammo reserves are is a great touch as well as the character's eyes showing the type of weapon. It was extremely ominous looking around the edges of the light too which was a great effect. Nice job!

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry about the lag, it only seems to happen on the web build, and only on some computers. I didn't have time to figure out the problem with the time I had left during the jam.

That's quite all right! Always a bit tricky and it wasn't unplayable or anything like that, just got in the way occasionally.

Very fyn game. I love the animations and the usage of parasite theme. draining blood is very original take on the theme. I also love the graphics

The art direction in this game is really good. I had a fun time playing this game, but agree with another comment that the difficulty got intense quickly. When the player character was struck, it seemed like there was some jarring in the frame rate. Overall a fun game, thanks for the submission!

Very cool idea, but difficulty ramps up to 11 in seconds! I would love some option to remap the melee to a different key as I'm playing on a laptop with a trackpad also.

Nice graphics and overall concept tho.

Also kudos for the 1st submission!

Nice work! I had fun playing this, and the enemy spawn rate seemed tuned well to keep menially overwhelmed, but not quite. Welcome to Godot Wild and good luck!
