Overall it's a lot better! As a side effect, having to re-buy special cards gives more use to money, so that's nice. The slightly improved UI is easier to read as well. But maybe it's a little too difficult now... I think now that you've made special cards single-use, you can re-add the ability to increase their capacity; since they add so much to the gameplay it would be nice to be able to use more of them in total if not reuse the same ones every round. To slow the pacing maybe you can add more slots as unlocks after reaching certain stages (perhaps as another boss reward?).

Wow huge nerf to the special cards... they now have only one use and have a limit of 3 total. Made the game a lot harder!

Thats a good decision. Unlike my decision in my game to make the final level scrolling in the last half-day of the jam, I didn't test it enough and it turns out it lags exponentially every time you die

Really great job guys! One other thing is that money also gets really irrelevant relatively early... one suggestion might be to add permanent upgrades not in the form of cards. Max health upgrade, score multiplier, etc..

lol

From my testing it is always possible to dodge the cars if you react quick enough, but I understand it's way more difficult than I intended. And sorry about the lag - a lot of people have been experiencing it, and unfortunately I couldn't fix it in time. Thanks for playing though!

Simple and addicting! As a math person, I love the gameplay. Made me a bit better at recognizing multiples of 7. Idea and art aren't anything too fancy, but they work really well. Bossfights are creative, even though there are only two. The special cards are really cool and fun to use as well!

I actually couldn't find the special cards tab in the shop for the first few rounds though, so I do wish that would have been just a bit clearer. And some of the descriptions of the boss reward cards are a little confusing. But overall really fun!

Yeah!

Thanks for trying it out anyway - could you describe in more detail why you couldn’t play it for very long? I’ll be sure to check out your entry when I have time.

Glad you enjoyed! But no spoilers, edit the comment please!

19605 on my first go! Really well polished game with cool sound and visual effects.

Yeah sorry about that - didn’t get the chance to fix it in time! I hope you had fun anyway.

Really fun concept! Almost like tower defense+shooter+rhythm. Well executed as well - I didn't get very far, but I enjoyed playing and I imagine it gets even more fun the further you get! If you have time, I'd appreciate feedback on my entry!

Took a basic concept (bombs counting down) and turning it into something  with an entertaining narrative. Puzzles are well designed! If you've got time, I would appreciate some feedback on my entry!

Fun skill tree! I would have loved a wider variety of content in each level, but I had a good time playing. If you have time, I would appreciate feedback on my entry!

Such a creative idea! Fun execution as well - loved the variety of minigames! If you have time, I'd appreciate feedback on my entry!

Nice submission! One thing I would suggest is to make the falling number more evenly distributed - so you don't have to wait too long for a certain number to spawn. If you have time, I'd appreciate some feedback on my entry!

Yeah it seems I made the difficulty spike a little too high... Hope you enjoyed anyway!

Real creepy - not my vibe, but still played it all the way through (I don't think I did very well). Very well executed! One minor complaint I have is that the text in the intro/tutorial is a bit hard to read at times, but I got the general idea. Please try out my entry if you've got time!

This is such a cool style! The way you implemented everything fits perfectly. I wish "respawning" was a bit snappier but the graphics are so awesome.

Glad you enjoyed! The zombies are supposed to act more as walls rather than direct hazards.

What a fun storyline! Mechanically fun puzzles.

Thanks! I’ll be sure to give yours a try once I have time! Just about the end of the day for me though so probably tomorrow.

Really reminded me of minesweeper! Very chill. I'd appreciate a rating for my game!

58.78! That wheezing sound effect is annoying, but in a funny way

Thanks! The sounds are mostly selected from the default Scratch sounds, although many were heavily modified. Animations are all mine!

I was going for some humorous contrast with the music. The whole thing is supposed to be ironic in a way. I understand if it didn’t really click though.

We’ve got a couple! Including kippie, smilehedgehog, and not_a_school_account. Everybody has done well - check out everyone’s entries!

Hey fellow Scratch game jammers! Great puzzle game submission :D

Great entry, fun concept! One small suggestion I have is to make the bullets not collide with dead enemies - it's a bit annoying sometimes. But overall solid game! Good luck!

Hey there! I see we had similar ideas - love your take on it! Would you consider giving me some last-minute feedback on my entry?

Played with my dad, got 12 million (he played the minesweeper, I played the tetris)! Pretty fun as a co-op game as well, involves a lot of coordination and timing.

3.6 mil

1.3 million, 12 tetrisweeps! Awesome game, I love both tetris and minesweeper

199 first try! Very smooth :D

ah yes, development hell… designing difficulty

Very well polished, and amazing art! I wish the levels were a tad bit more forgiving, though.

I would appreciate it if you would check out my entry as well \/

To get the top-middle coin you need to find a way to slow down. Perhaps by going the other way, then switching back?

You can use the number keys to more quickly select items, if that helps.

Click on the desired item on the toolbar, and click on where you want it to go. Do this BEFORE clicking the play button/pressing SPACE.
