This version is surprisingly good. That being said, from the perspective of someone who’s a veteran of DnD-style NSFW games and pixel dungeons, there’s still plenty of room for improvement. Here are my suggestions:
1. The current woopoo system still feels a bit disconnected from the rest of the game. For enemies that are awake, most characters besides Tieflings rarely feel that it’s a revamped feature. If it could interact more with the current system—such as traps, ambushes, special rooms, charm, defeat, or challenges—it might feel more unique.
2. About balance: woopoo is too costly as a single solution. It itself takes two turns to use, and then it causes a 10-turn slow. Without any means of resistance, it’s purely for fun. Even just putting weakness before slow would improve it a lot.
3. About interaction: woopoo is entirely one-sided. While that’s one approach, I think it would be really fun to see a succubus ride on the hero after they’ve been charmed XD.
4. About repetitiveness: when playing as a Tiefling, I tried using woopoo as a main strategy for fun builds, but quickly found it became boring. Every enemy has to do a QTE, and when it comes to dwarves and demons, you have to stay super focused to avoid failing, which makes the game unfun. The Artifact Doll is even worse—though I know it’s very strong, I can’t be bothered to charge it. Maybe adding a skip button in the settings or in scenarios, using hero level and probability to determine success, could be an option?
Overall, I hope to soon see ambushes with bare hands that can enforce woopoo at a low success rate, lust traps, lust gas rooms, adding charm and paralysis to the woopoo mechanic with cuffs, monsters gathering around after a defeat to take turns messing with the hero, and full woopoo challenge runs. Keep it up, I love this game ♡ ...
