It is often true that those who see a new invention are sure they could have come up with it, now knowing what it is, but the fact remains that they did not.

I've only played this a dozen times or more

honestly I come back to this whenever I just need to chill for ~15 minutes

Just played Violarium and damn these are gorgeous

played it without sound the first time, just did another playthrough with sound, can confirm it is even better this way

and even having done the whole thing yesterday I still struggled a little with a couple of the final puzzles, which is, again, perfect

Those puzzles get devious by the end, and right when I was worried how much harder I could stand for them to get, the game ended

which imo is perfect

happy to be helpful!

FYI, the English "customizable" pdf seems to only have one page

been playing it on mute for a while trying to star all the Bass Sides (only one to go! they are devilish), and after a reboot the music is playing again and it's just so good

An absolute delight, and the music and sound effects really add to the whole length of it

Hey this is super cool. I got stuck just enough, i did a late game thing way early on accident but didn't realize how so I couldn't reproduce it until the game told me. A wonderful little game.

my only nitpick would be that the music loops a little awkwardly.

I find this interesting that so many people got Demon the way I got Angel and Bird, but I had to brute-force Demon because whatever the hint was wasn't making any sense to me

to be clear, this rules, I hope I don't sound too nitpicky

ALL ENDINGS! I... don't actually feel great about that.

(1 edit)

new note: now the belligerent man gives infinite proofs after I've satisfied him

also several folks drop proofs on death that they already gave me while living

Vindication!

is there a puzzle involving the belligerent man and the smoking guard? should I be doing something with them? they taunt me

I think it's a consequence directly of repealing Law 14

(1 edit)

alright I've gotten endings 2 & 3

ETA: ending 1 down, now I get to stare and wonder about what ending 4 requires

Oh man this is *mean* mean (complimentary)

ngl I brute-forced it

This was a delight, thank you

the link to your website from this page is broken (thankfully the link from your website to this page works fine)

I'm pretty sure they're Logo instructions to graphically generate a given room, like how "door" draws a rectangle, so if you copy/paste the instructions of a given coordinate (and have "door" defined as well) it'll draw that room for you

wow that last one is a real doozy, no idea where to even look from here

oh my god this is AWFUL

thank you so much for revealing how to find it

"Brut" is correctly named; it is brutal, and I've been trying at it for weeks now

thank you so much for this, i swear i checked over the whole island four or five times and never tried that

I hadn't, with the issue, so thank you!

It took me Some Time but I managed to track it down!

Heads up that, in just the default font version, the second "any" in the third paragraph is spelled "aby"

Thank you so much!

No problem, glad to be useful

I see the whole document is available as an image on the page, but is the lack of a download version intentional?

the background textures/images are fuzzier but I see the file size is, uh, 4.5% of what it was, which seems like a more than fair trade

Those last two were a real doozy, *especially* the water tower, and I did have to look up how to get to the crane (just, like, step 1, but still), but man that's a satisfying success

Do you make anything that isn't a banger?

Damn this really is stellar

That last fight drove me nuts the first couple tries and then as soon as I figured it out it became instead consistently challenging, which is really a sweet spot. Really nailed it, imo.

Thanks for the reply! I thought that might be the case, glad you have tentative plans to re-release it

If you don't mind me asking, why'd you take this one down?

oh that is very clever
