Skills: 3D modeling for environment props — natural (rocks, foliage, terrain details, driftwood, plants) and artificial/man-made (structures, debris, functional props). Realistic style, not low-poly. Unreal Engine experience a plus but not required.

Project: A 3D cozy/exploration game built in Unreal Engine 5.8, following a crab protagonist across island environments — physics-driven puzzles, wildlife AI, and a narrative involving a storm and family separation. (Contact me for full details.)

Good morning everyone!

We're a small team of 5 currently building our first commercial title, Home Is Where the Sand Is.

We're looking for an animator with a solid grasp of rigging, skin weights, bone movement, and character animation fundamentals. Our characters are non-humanoid — animal characters — with roughly 7-8 total characters in the game, each needing around 3-4 animations.

You're welcome to work in whichever software you're comfortable with — Maya, Blender, or otherwise — as long as the final animations can be packaged into an Unreal-supported format. That said, it's a big plus if you already work in Unreal Engine yourself, since it'll make cinematic work with Control Rig much smoother down the line. Familiarity with Unreal's Control Rig, Sequencer, or other in-engine animation tools is a definite bonus.

Compensation: 5-7% profit share Duration: 3-4 months

If this sounds like a fit, drop me a message on Discord  at " xharsx "and let's talk. Have a great day! ^^
