Very nice, simple but fun ! Didn't expect my bullet to be dodge by a dancing number ahah. The simplicity makes the gameplay is intuitive. I didn't feel the lack of tutorial (even if it's better with one).

Good idea, not beeing able to see all the rooms and the ennemies moving super fast in a puzzle game are the main problems to me. The rest is fine.

The game is incredible, artwork, audio, movements are very good, Awesome job !

Pure speedruning experience. Feels good to play, good job ! Nice touch to add different objectives in levels.

I get the idea and actually enjoyed the game. But I feel like it's all about luck if the important clues vanish before you can see them. Visuals and ambiance are great though.

It's excellent ! That level of polish in a game jam is very impressive. The puzzles, the camera movements, the effects when you record, everything is good. The only thing I could say would be the jump that is a bit rigid, but it's not even a real problem during the game.

I'm impressed, good job !

Nice take on the 2048. I find this game (2048) boring, but with these doors to unlock it's way better !

I love that wario ware style of mini games. Art is cute and it's very pleasant and addictive to collect all these fishes. The only 2 things I could say are :

- Getting the last fishes are a bit long (maybe add having more chances to find fishes that you don't already have)

- No chill background music, it would fit perfectly

Very good job !

Basic but it works well. I think that pressing keys just one frame to save movements feels like cheating ahah. Playing more with the game physics' inertia to save movements could be really interesting.

Concept is good, you have to kill the monsters at the right timing to refill a maximum of time. But I couldn't stomp monsters from above, only the roll could kill them. if you enjoyed the process, that's the main thing !

Very cool game ! The mouvement set feels good to use, it's really fun to play.

I could just say that because you can feed on bats 3 times before countdown, when you have a lot of them you don't fell threatened. I think if they have a countdown at first feed like the humans, it would force the player to be more careful.

Thank you so much ! Yes, I'm so sad I messed up something that easy to fix :'(

Really good puzzle game. Fit the theme, polished, clever, nothing to say. I just miss an undo button and it's perfect. Good job !

Thank you ! I changed the movement speed last minute to fix a bug, it was a bad idea :(

Thank you so much for the kind words !

Very cool game, love the way the narration is done with le little intro and when you run out of steps. It's polished, it's cute, and you did everything yourself, great job ! Wouldn't have say no to slightly more complex puzzles to solve.

Nice one, I'm sad that I have been spoiled by the "How does your game fit the theme?" question ahah. Although the movements are a bit cluncky, it is good enough to enjoy playing it. I really like the "double" design of the platforms. Good job making everything yourself !

I had the same idea at first but didn't commit to it, so I'm happy to see a game with this mechanic of counting down each movement. Nothing to say about the execution — graphics are simple but efficient, and SFX are good. Just lacking some background music.

On the gameplay side, while I like some of the ideas (especially the block that switches between wall and not-wall every movement), I think the puzzles are a bit straightforward, and there aren't many ways to optimize the number of movements. But maybe I've played too many puzzle games, and that's not the case for everyone.

Overall, really good game, well done!

While the execution is really well done, visuals are great, SFX are good, music is nice, and the idea is interesting, I have some difficulty having fun with the gameplay. I think it's too hard to get a perfect time, and if I get to 8:29 instead of 8:30, I'm cooked because it's impossible to adjust by just 1. Maybe some slower dice rolls could help with this.

Anyway, good job doing everything yourself!

Simple and straightforward, but it works well. I agree with another comment about coyote time. Having the countdown in big red in the middle of the screen, in contrast with the rest in black and white, works really well. It's just missing some sound effects and a catchy tune — I think that could really add a sense of urgency for the player. Good job overall!

I did it myself, thank you ! Yes, I forgot to add WASD controls, you're right.

Thank you ! Yes, I found a bug last minute and the only fast way I found to fix it was to slow down the movement a bit (my code is a mess ahah).

Thank you so much !

I didn't think about it that way, of course it counts, you decide after all ahah

Also, why is it named Labyrinthine when there is no labyrinthe lol?

I think that the concept is really good but it's very hard to play this game. The mouvement seems to be blocked at the middle of the screen and I don't understand why and I don't get what the gauges represents. The main problem is that things are happening too fast, maybe slowing down the game would give the player some time to see what he can do.

Nice game, the puzzles make good use of the Heavy/Light mechanic.

Maybe adding some visual hints to show when you're heavy enough to break platforms or light enough to fly up with the wind, could improve readability.

Really polished game, fun and challenging, well done.

The only drawback i can see is that it's kinda hard to predict where the aliens will be scattered after a merge.

Fun game, I'm exhausted from the jam so it's hard to play such a high-APM game, haha. Overall it works very well.

Some minor improvements could smooth out the gameplay, like right-clicking to close the building menu.

Love seeing games where you make everything yourself!

It's thanks to you !! I'm really glad my game was so well received.

Hope to see you in another jam !

She is doing her best :'(

Thank you for the feedback ! Level design could be better I agree.

Thank you so much !! I see a lot of love for Elizabeth in the comments, so happy that everyone likes her.

Congrats on playing through all the levels especially the last one, I tried to make it a real challenge.

Creative idea, it could become very addictive just with some simple things. Cuala explained these already. So I will just add that in terms of game design I felt like just placing the  most expensive pigs are the best if you have money. Maybe with some rabbits weak against  some specific pigs it would force the player to make choices and adapt it's strategy. Just an idea crossing my mind.

Anyway good job, hope you had fun in this jam !

I didn't stumble upon a lot of precise plateformer in this jam so it's always nice to see one. The idea of level repeating with more difficulty is nice and allow the player learn how to use the movement set. I’d say the movements are a bit too floaty, and it’s hard to be precise. Otherwise good job I hope you had fun making this !

Definitely a good idea. Missing some key features like reset. Maybe with some better level design you could avoid having the player stuck because the crate droped too far. But you're going in the right direction ! Good job !

Great idea, and great level design to make you understand it. The movements are fluid and feels nice. Only thing I could say is that it's a bit straightforward and you don't have to think too much to finish it. But that's my love for puzzles talking, and it's nice sometimes to just go and enjoy the game. Very good job !

Thank you so much for this detailed feedback.

Level 17 is a good example of how people think differently. Some find it easy, while others find it hard. That's all the difficulty of game design in puzzle games.

I’ll be more careful with my spelling/grammar next time. I just wrote the text as I was thinking and didn’t really review it. Thanks for noticing that.

And about the font, I totally agree with you, I like this font but it's not the best one for reading. I thought about that while making the game and with all the things to do I forgot ahah.

Thanks again for the kind words !

Thank you very much ! I'm actually impressed you didn't cut the music before ahah. I'm very far from being a good at making music so it's time consuming.

I've seen other puzzle games posting hints or even the solution to help people, maybe I should've done that.

Thank you for the feeback ! What bother you in the UI, the drag'n'drop or more the design ?

(1 edit)

Really good concept, just played a game with kind of the same loop and timing but this one is way more interesting. It's simple but addictive very quickly. The enemy turning on you at the last second can be frustranting, but I can see it part of the gameplay to be careful and not too greedy. The only downside I found is when there is more enemies, sometimes there is no escape and it's game over.

Overall, very good game !
