The latest 1.2 should be enough to work.

The main issue is that the emulator inside the Sprint was not reading the JSON properly, in particular the line that says "jzintv_extra".

That is vital for enabling expanded GRAM for Dreadline, otherwise graphics will be messed up.

Mechatron does not incur the same issue, but certainly having the latest firmware can't hurt.

Hello, were you able to play the game? Let me know if you still need help.

Glad to hear the issues are resolved. Enjoy the game!

This seems to be an issue with expanded GRAM not being activated. Make sure to update your Sprint's firmware to the latest version. Please come back if that does not fix it.

I have responded. Thanks.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with it. Folks over at AtariAge may be able to help.
Ultimately, it needs to be able to generate a command line similar to the one below:
jzintv -z3 -G2 -v0 -s0 --jlp-save="dreadsave" Dreadline.bin

Enjoy!

Please check with Intellivision Collector for that answer.

You are absolutely right, in which ”JLP bankswitching” is in fact Mattel-style bankswitching.

The term is being used loosely here to facilitate buyer understanding of the environment required to run the game.

The rom is large enough not to fit a regular cart. The game does also use math acceleration.

Never tried the upside down controller approach. Will check it out! Thanks

shout out to Black Tiger for that contribution!

thank you so much!
