Thanks.  The memories are tied to unlocking blessings.  The blessings are tied to combat and exploration.  You get blessings including a ponpoko shockwave as an ability, a straw hat used as a shield, sake to heal your health, and more.  See the store listing for the full description.

Hi everyone,

I just released A Tanuki's Tale Demo V0.3!  This is a 3D Open World Action RPG where you control a Tanuki who is lost and needs to find his way back home.  The game is based on Japanese folklore and includes needing to find the four memories of home, and the eight blessings.  In this release, we added new features including new Tanuki animations (Idle, jump, land), wildlife (Birds, Butterflies, and fishes), xbox controller support, a dark mode for the UI, wind VFX, a full bridge with an underpass ravine, a larger world, controller buttons showing on the ability bar, and more.  You can play the game for free on my store listing below.  Please note this game is still in early release, so any feedback is appreciated.

Hi everyone,

I just released Candy Kart Rush Demo on Itch.io!  This is a 3D Candy-themed Cartoon Kart Racer where you have a Sugar Meter that you fill up by collecting sugar crystals.  You use it as a speed boost, but if you use too much you will have a sugar crash out, which creates the risk-reward system.  There are power ups, a Grand Prix mode, quick races, and many map, character, and kart unlockables to choose from.  You can play the game in browser for free in my store listing below.  Please note this game is still in early release, so any feedback is appreciated.

Thank you for your feedback.  You say the controls are too spread out but what's wrong with X to attack and Left Shift to dash?  Esc for pausing is standard practice for most keyboard and mouse input controls.  I will look into adding a blocking mechanic to make the combat more smooth and consistent.

Hi everyone,

I just released a new version to my game Legend Of Dragon!  This is a 2D Cartoon Action/Shooter where you start off with a basic dragon that can only shoot rocks.  You  have to defeat the waves of mountain knights to earn coins, and you use those coins to unlock new upgrades, including new maps, characters, and weapon unlockables.  See below for a gameplay video and a link to my store listing.  Please note the game is still in early release, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for playtesting my game!  I do see how the playing field is too wide and a narrower slope like a ski slope would be better.  I will work on implementing that into the next demo release.  Also, I will fix the bug you noticed too.  I wanted to ask which assets do you recommend I replace?

I'd like to introduce the game Penguin Snow Rider, a 2D Cartoon Top-Down Endless Runner!  Enjoy the holiday season as you control a cute penguin sliding down a mountain while avoiding obstacles, and roaming yetis in the distance.  Earn various powerups you can use to progress in the game.  Try to get the highest score you can.  Note this is a demo version, the full version is still in development.
