Hey, the not naming a character is pretty usual I think. Lyra is just not an easy or generic character, that's why I decided to give her a fixed name. As mentioned in the game, the option to name her isn't and was never off the board.
She is since the beginning labeled as "MC" in code, so letting the player pick a name is an easy 5 minute fix. For now my priority is to finish Episode 3 first. As far as things go at the moment, I'll probably have time to re-record or do some changes to Amonie's first scene which I wanted to do nontheless. Adding the option to pick a name, (might) be happening there but I can feel your frustration to not pick a name.
Hi, I'm pretty sure I didn't tell you that you're a dude :D I referred to the player, or you, as "they" to avoid that and you can see yourself as whatever you want. The scenes are mostly for comedic reasons anyways (for now).
If I had to take a guess, over 90% of players don't read the codex and that is absolutely okay of course. I thought it was just a nice addition and might come handy in the future. If you return to the game for example in a couple month again, you may have forgotten what the different races are called or which character was who, so you can get a little reminder from that too. Happy to hear that you're enjoying the game so far!

The menu took much more work/time than anticipated but turned out even better than expected. I'm glad you like it! I obviously can't and won't tell you much about the whole Earth/Tarissia traveling because it is very complex and easy to ruin if I make mistakes there, so I kept infos on that pretty vague for now^^ But it is also what the game is about so you'll learn more about it when the time comes. I could (I won't) name a video game outside the VN world that failed miserably at something similar, but I want to make sure that doesn't happen to mine as well.
I'm also happy that you like the slow approach on Toka and Naomi. They are too precious and important too have those scenes with them this early on into the game. Kinda ruins the importance of them completely imo.
Regarding the out of Lyra scenes where the player gets treated as a pervert: It is mostly for comedic reasons but I also came to the point that making that joke too often gets redundant very quickly and I already found a good way to give them an actual meaning a couple weeks ago. Nice to see that people think alike and have the same vision hehe I reworked one of the videos from the game to fit into a trailer which I will upload on Discord/Patreon or YouTube etc. soon. It may contain a little teaser for that already 👀
Glad you're enjoying the game so far! There is a bit of improvement possible still but the game might only go down to 1.5GB due to general size of videos, audio etc. I can try to add a more compressed version next to the current one, where videos are not running in 60fps and images are compressed further (but will have visual loss).
For the future: Episode 3 for example will be its own .apk Same counts for every other future episode. That means you only have to download one, ~1GB episode at a time and can delete the old one so the files won't get to big.
Ashley's scene has been fixed earlier today already. I also fixed Veyliths scene too. My apologies for having these silly bugs with missing images and videos.
I tested both myself just now from the new version and they work as intended now.

Lyra is a futa. If I make more use of her female part is not decided yet. Same counts for the male partners. It's not planned yet but I will make polls for it in the future as optional content once the game has progressed a bit further. Right now introducing all the girls and building the plot has priority for the first few episodes.
Thank you very much! It’s been quite a learning process over the past 3~ months, starting from scratch. The visuals improved a lot toward the end of the episode, and Episode 2 will continue to build on that quality.
