Oi cara. Sim,vai sair traduzido e expandido agora mês que vem já, pela Caramelo Jogos!!!
Capa dura, quase 90 paginas
This (d20 + bonus) was the more interesting idea i had. It would be more intuitive,as you said. But the reason that i didn't go that way was the retrocompatibility: since the Elfgame need to use the bestiary from BX/retroclones, it would create two rules for the same thing (PC would use d20+bonus, monsters would use the standard procedure)
The whole idea was to mantain the Elfgame able to be played with any and all material released in the past 40-50 years
Sorry man. We had some problem on our production line - Ancestral Península #2 (eng) and Península Ancestral #3 (pt) got delayed.
We're actually finishing both (and Península Ancestral #4 pt!) at the same time.
I believe the revised/expanded version (and it's translation) will be ready in this semester. Caramelo Jogos has already confirmed interest in releasing it in physical form - at least THESE are good news
Yes! I already made a list of things to to be included in the revised/expanded: bestiary, how to make a hex, how to make a dungeon, more items of power, alternative origins tables (with standard "classes" and "races"), how to make a faction, maybe even simplified treasure tables. Now i only need a break from work and from Ancestral Península production/releases to work on it!
Yes, just 7 coins. And yes, the idea is that the player characters starts the game with nothing (or close to nothing), at level zero.
The objective is creating a new character in less than 5 minutes and start playing right away.
This also includes shopping in game once you have the funds - instead of spending 10-30 minutes preparing your inventory before it even starts.
You can always decide to multiply the money by 10 and starting the game at level 1 - but then, character creation become a 20-60 minutes job again.
Hi there. Brigandine was written in game as a after though, so it did indeed made everything more complex than intended. On our revision at the end of the Icon0clasm ball, it'll be cut out of the game.
But yes: armor is used in layers, each layer giving +2 CA and acumulating with other "armor pieces"
