Hey i just downloaded this, and i have some questions.

It seems to be missing some texture? There are references to some "height.jpg" that isnt included (or at least i couldnt find it). Is this something necessary or maybe some leftover reference to an older version? It's in the v2.0.1 documentation's "Required Texture Assets" table

The other three new textures dont seem to actually be wired into the updated v2 shader either. "water 0340.jpg", "water 0340normal.jpg", and "water normal 2.jpg" are all present in the download, but "Shaders/water shader 2.gdshader" has no sampler2D uniforms for "water_normal_1", "water_normal_2", "surface_noise",  or "height_map" at all.
These texture uniforms arent declared, so nothing in the shader samples the textures. The surface normal is still generated the same procedural way as v1.0. So the "texture-based normal map pipeline" described as the headline new feature in the v2.0.1 docs isn't actually in the shipped shader code since the textures are just sitting in the folder unused.

The animations and art are incredibly good! very satisfying doing last-second turn arounds and boosting into an enemy.
Reminds me of an old mobile or web game i used to play.

Love the stylization of the visuals, but the UX needs some work. Its difficult to know how many joules youre on when buying upgrades, especially in the beginning with the number being so high.

Reloading felt very satisfying, but the rolling made some encounters a bit easy to get around. I'd maybe prefer more ammo, and less need for rolling around enemies, but could just be my aim that needs work!

Nice little puzzle game, and a very well made pico-8 game! Clever use of the spinning theme

Love the visuals!

Just adorable.

Great visuals, loved creating builds.

Great visuals and writing!

Cool art style and audio design. Reminds me of a game from my childhood,

Thank you! You should try to get the other endings, they're a bit more exciting ;)

Wow! Thank you so much, that really means a lot being a first time dev!
Did you manage to get any of the bad endings as well?

Thank you so much for playing it, it warms my heart!

I've uploaded a new v1.1 build that should fix this. It also adds a "skip credits" feature so people can get back to the main menu to try different branching paths.
