Thanks so much! All credit to jack vance for the time travelling wizard inspiration. Spell tattoos was my way of explaining how Ymirlo could cast animate objects despite being chained up without a spellbook in sight haha

Different take on the jam than I've seen so far, cool you got a mechanic/system developed in the space and time available. I think with some more fleshing out this could be really cool and helpful to a GM looking to switch things up for a session, maybe even as an in-world game the characters know and love to play at the tavern. That crime boss will help us, but only if you can beat him at a game of Fall of the First Pretender. Anyways, interesting stuff!
Hey that's so kind thanks! My last module using Cairn I felt wasn't using the system to its full potential so I tried to lean into those signs and environment tables here.
That's a good point on the grey text and I'll add it to my list of post jam tweaks that I'd like to go and do once the voting period is over. Thanks again and good luck in the jam yourself!
Oh damn, this one is cracking! Initial impression was it's really busy but spending time with it I can see a lot of smart layout choices throughout and it's actually very accessible. The little notes throughout are great, like a RPG group has ran and ran this module into the ground with all the various chaos that entails.
Public domain art used really well here too, top notch :)
That map is cracking! Really excellent little details. The doom clock progression is really great writing too, felt very dark indeed.
Only thing I'd suggest is giving the layout a bit more room to breathe. Bigger margins and maybe using that 4th page to space the text out a bit and add some spot art to break things up a bit
Excited to see the next version :)
Thanks for the kind words! I came up with those 4 prisoners and couldn't figure out which to cut/focus on, so it ended up being pretty crowded in there.
Hadnt thought of the party having different secret missions, in my head it was the gang having a shared goal but I like that idea a lot as a way to create chaos!
