How do I know if I got the true ending? I just played it and i got the ending beyond the soul

There's no other questions where I can choose the answer after I select the option serious , I can record it and send it to you if you'd like
So I actually replayed it and the part where he says "shall we go back?" Does show up but I just die right after
Just restarted the game but whenever I choose the option 'serious' for the meister selection I never get anymore questions after that
The part where he says 'Shall we go back?' doesn't show up at all for me
Is the ending to Kids route just dying? I've played through it two times and I keep getting the bad ending , is this how it's program or am I just not doing something right?
