Hey mywex -- I was in operations before going to UI Design. If you want to test out my game... https://apalamen.itch.io/origami-underworld
I will keep the freeware version here, the main one will be on STEAM next month. If you like ROGUE and DIABLO styled games with a tower defense end game (protect the dungeon you conquered and allied with from adventurers want to rob and kill your monster co-workers). :)

I'm a new indie dev. Been designing software for the Big Tech. Got downsized more times than I care to mention. Decided to write a Rogue/Nethack RPG - due to my dad passing away the previous year. Been coding it and designing it every day ever since. I tried to create an FPV because he appreciated World of Warcraft, Asherons Call, Anarchy Online. And he loved top down games like Rogue and Diablo and Xcom. And we alway enjoyed a little text adventure game. So this is a hybrid game.
Its a rock opera type game, so if you like new types of music for an RPG game that you have never heard before -- I was a musician as was my dad for a large part of our early lives, so you will see some powerful tunes -- imagine a song turned from a haiku into rock music. Yeah You can easily turn off all the music and just enjoy the sound FX and fight hack and slash.
The end game turns into a tower defense. It also has options for endless replay with a sub-portal dungeon that truly is more nethack without the music universe it resides in.
I wanted to donate it for free for kids. But no one seems interested unless you are a famous indie firm. I just dont believe in spamming anyone.
Hi Everyone. New register. I wanted to greet everyone here. I am a sole contributor for this project Origami Underworld. Its a 3D WebGL browser-based game. I spent a lot of effort to ensure it gets 60fps in most systems in a 1200x1024 browser.

My game is rogue-nethack based. Reason being, my dad passed away last year and I wanted to create a game he would have played, because he loved Nethack, World of Warcraft, Diablo and text based adventure games. I just wanted to find a space to create something he would have played. My mom is of Japanese decent and was always fond of musical shows - and she passed during Covid before she got a chance to see my daughter.
