Just an idea, could be helpful if their was a more automatic tutorial maybe with the Signal Machine? Showing how it is done first on each panel by itself, finding the signal, locking in the polarity, playback & enhancing, then letting you try it for yourself. Just thinking of ways it could be improved. -arcade_portal32

I genuinely think a very quick way mrdrnose could fix this is by letting you play without doing the Tutorial, but giving you like two prompts like "This is your first time playing, are you sure you want to skip it? This game has a lot of complex mechanics that you may want training in first.", then is says after you click "Yes", " ...Are you really, really sure? Gleep Glorp might abduct you if you don't :) Press "Yes to Gleep Glorp" to continue". You press "Yes to Gleep Glorp". No but to be honest, there maybe should be even just a standalone tutorial on the machine, nothing else, maybe it goes more in depth, only focusing on that, floppy disks, and so on, just stuff related to the Signal Machine. An option for a long and short tutorial if you really don't want people to skip it? I personaly think they should be, just give them some warnings that, that may not be a good idea for your first time playing. I can see most of the smaller stuff like picking things up being figured out through game-play alone by many, or quickly reading about it in the help menu. I know why there is guides to completing the tutorial, I won't spoil anything, but there is more to it then meets the eye *wink, I don't want to get in trouble... but genuinely a "Long" and "Short" tutorial maybe just focusing on the Signal Machine more in depth with a way to skip them entirely with a warning if skipped, I think would at least help get people in faster. Just genuine thoughts. Edit: just thinking about it too, for a first playthrough, maybe even some tooltips can be activated during your first play-through if you skip the tutorial. Maybe it shows you how to transfer your info from your floppy to your zip while your playing if it's your first time an you selected maybe a prompt to in-game tool-tips instead of the Geep Glorp prompt lol. -arcade_portal32.... Hehe, maybe if you skip the tutorial, something unique happens at a certain point? Unique gleeby if you don't figure out the Signal Machine it knocks on your base door and watches you till you do lol?
