Hello, thanks for your question. It sounds as if the emulator you are using needs to add support for homebrew ROMs.
If you add the zip with the 240p test Suite ROM like any other, the other ones you have run fine and the suite doesn't then it is that the emulator needs to add support since that would imply they recognize the checksums and add them. So there is nothing I can do from my side.

We are sorry you don't understand the logic, we used the same logic as on profession patterns from back when CRTs were the current display technology, just moving towards that goal.
Regarding the GPT response, If that's how you work that's all cool. I provided a copy of teh wii suite with the old grid as optional, so you can compare yourself.

Thanks for your feedback and comments. I am sorry to hear you hate it, it might be that there are conflicting usage and purposes, and I can try and serve yours as well.
Point 1:
The new grid is intender to be able to show the NTSC official limits, and help with that for those that want to calibrate geometry to proper NTSC. It is 320x240, but not the white pattern (It was red beforehand up in that area). You now have the cyan, magenta and green in that area up to one pixel off the very edge.
You still have the convergence, and I could add back as an optional feature the old grid. We just saw no purpose given the other patterns and the new useful features.
Point 7:
Maybe we miscommunicated the usefulness of monoscope, but it is indeed easier to use than circles for linearity. The squares are meant to be used for that and simple measuring tape can be used with them to match professional equipment for linearity to NTSC standards.

Cada juego arcade tiene su propio test, ya que tienen distintas resoluciones y refresh rates. Asumí estabas usando la de Neo Geo, y los resultados son solo válidos para Neo Geo.
Las consolas de video juegos, como la mega drive, son para televisores de consumo, no para monitores arcade. Puedes usarla para calibrar y que se vea bien cada consola, pero dependiendo de como lo haga la RGB Pi puede o no simular como funciona el hardware real. Nunca he probado una.
Pero puedes probar poniendo una suite y otra suite, y contrastar los resultados. Si los resultados son idénticos, entonces no imita al hardware real. Si son cada uno distinto como en hardware real, tendrás que calibrar cada que cambias de señal o elegir un compromiso.

From what I read it might be a configuration mistake, or a bug. We'll try to figure it out.
Have you changed back to NTSC and disabled the PAL setting from within the Suite? What you describe is consistant with having it output composite video in PAL color mode and using an NTSC set to display it.

Del tema que me comentas, puedes usar Dreamcast sin duda. Obviamente geometría y relojes difícilmente serán correctos en emulación, pero la ventaja que puedes tener es que todas las plataformas compartirán los niveles de color y contraste, ya que estarás midiendo la PC y las tarjetas y equipo que generan o convierten el video.
En general cada fuente es distinta, por eso es necesario medir con cada fuente/consola y recalibrar cada vez que se cambia o tener un compromiso entre distintas fuentes. Pero como en tu caso tu única fuente es tu PC, los problemas no serán esos.

Program RAM is 4 banks of 131072. So it should be the dual chips at:
- IC108: SRAM: LH5P832N-10
- IC109: SRAM: LH5P832N-10
Keep in mind anything in the path form the CPU to the program RAM could be damaged: traces, logic, etc.
