I've seen a couple of comments asking you if you used AI to write Myrddin, but I thought that him sounding like AI, or at least sounding uncanny, was the point 😭😭😭 It's been a while since I've played this game so I don't really remember the plot (I'll replay for the release of Ch.5) but wasn't he created by a higher power for a purpose. He isn't human and he literally doesn't have a face, so we can't expect him to sound human. Besides, he has had to spend so many years in that cube alone, so his conversational skills would definitely be stilted if he isn't regularly in contact with other people. Also, with the setting of the game, I thought it was apt that he sounds like AI, because in games where you can play against a non-human opponent (like online chess or checkers), it is usually a programmed AI playing so I feel like Myrddin's tone is on brand...? Idk if that last point makes sense.
I do understand the worries about generative AI being used, because generative AI is like an infectious parasite nowadays... So many YT video scripts are made with AI, or at least sound like they've been written with ChatGPT, and it's HORRENDOUS.
I think that Myrddin's tone works well, given the nature of his character. Iirc, doesn't he comment on us being behind a screen at some point or at least the player not being in the cube with him. There is literally no other entity that can speak like a human, apart from some form of AI or like a god ...and the god character doesn't sound like AI to me.
...I really hope this doesn't come across like I'm a gen. AI supporter
In Tutorial Hills, I find that I cant actually fly and I have to support myself with the water jetpack thing. I end up falling back onto gusts of air which lift me back up, but it seems that there aren't any for the 2nd feather, so I'm struggling to complete the star challenge with the super feather
