Hi everyone! I've released Chapter 1 of Midnight Pills, a first-person psychological horror game for Windows.

October 13, 1998. A quiet evening at home leads to a strange online order: SOMNIVEX, a sleeping pill promising dreams that feel real. The package arrives the next morning. You take one — and familiar rooms start feeling wrong.

The demo combines everyday interactions around the house with a late-90s camcorder look, English voice-over and subtitles, environmental sound, and sudden scares.

Free demo, screenshots and controls:

This download includes Chapter 1 of a planned three-chapter story. Windows 10/11 (64-bit), keyboard and mouse; headphones recommended.

I'd love feedback on the atmosphere and pacing. If you make horror videos or stream indie games, I'd also love to see your playthrough — feel free to share the link.

Content notes: jump scares, flashing lights, visual distortion, and depictions of medication. Credits and AI-use details are on the game page.

Thanks for checking it out!

Hi Twenty! I'm bananasface, the creator of Midnight Pills, and I'd love to submit the free Windows demo for your horror streams.

It's a first-person psychological horror game set in October 1998. A late-night order for SOMNIVEX promises dreams that feel real; after taking a pill, familiar rooms begin to feel wrong. It combines a VHS-style camcorder look, everyday interactions around the house, English voice-over and subtitles, and sudden scares.

The demo includes Chapter 1 and is free to download, with no key needed:

Content notes: jump scares, flashing lights, visual distortion, and depictions of medication.

If it fits your stream, I'd be happy to see your first impressions and feedback. Thanks for giving indie horror games a chance!
