I'm glad you enjoyed the concept. I happened to be playing a very one dimensional coin pusher game on my phone when I came up with the concept because I wanted to know what something like this type of game would even look like or if it could exist and I've made it! Thanks for playing my game and stay tuned for more updates in the future! (and maybe a Steam release because the feedback has been almost nothing but positive, so it might land there!)
Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it!
The information dump will be reworked into a more drawn out tutorial over a few floors on the first run to make it easier to take in the information. Currently, it just dumps it all at the player and causes them to not pay attention to it at all.
Thanks for the write up and very well thought out comment. Thanks for playing my game and I will for sure fix the issues that you and many other people seemed to have! I appreciate the feedback a lot!
Yeah, the main system was easy enough to get completed in Godot with the Rigid2D body (the coin pusher system), then it was just building each feature on top of it! Surprisingly had little issues throughout the time of the Jam and it made things just breeze by. Yeah, the tutorial needs to huge overhaul. It's a huge information dumb at the moment and causes people to be confused.
Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Yeah, the games tutorial is very heavy handed currently, the next build after the jam will have an actual tutorial progression and introduce concepts a bit more slowly as you progress. Currently, it is very wordy. I need to bring that down a bit. Thanks for the comment and kind words. I really appreciate it!
gmtk2026 is the code ;) You're the first to ask about it!! I completely forgot to add it anywhere. Mistake on my part. I made it to get a bit of gems for character unlocks or equipment to make it easier for the people rating within the jam.
Thanks so much for the comment and very nice words! I will absolutely be developing further and have already started. The first major update will be skill effects and instead of skills being wordy, they will have icons and the same hover information. I want the game to feel less wordy overall if I can help it.
Thanks! There is less content than it seems actually, I just happened to think up ideas to reuse the concept of the coin pusher and things worked out well making a few different game modes and it giving the illusion of more content even though it's a repeated concept!
Hope your friends enjoy it as well and hope you get the chance to play more. I feel like I should have had all of the characters unlocked for the jam as each one has it's own set of skills with one shared skill across all heroes.
Thanks again for the comment, it's greatly appreciated!
