You fly a kitten's hot-air balloon up out of an evening meadow and through seventeen skies, and catch the creatures that live up there with a bubble. The more you carry the heavier you get, so a full basket drifts you back down home: the first of each kind moves into its own little house on the board, and the rest are traded for petals. Petals buy a bigger balloon to fly higher, a bigger basket to carry more, and a lantern that reaches further — or hats and keepsakes, if you would rather dress up. There are 42 creatures to find, a giant thing hanging in every sky to fly past, and catching every kind in a sky opens the one above it.
It is a cosy game, but not an empty one: higher up, thornkites and storm clouds can knock a creature out of your net or send you home early, and there is an optional hard mode.
It plays on a computer with keyboard, mouse or gamepad, and on a phone or tablet by touch (hold it sideways). A flight is a couple of minutes; there is a few hours of it altogether.
I am after feedback more than anything: where you stopped, what confused you in the first two minutes, and anything that felt slow or broken. A comment on the page or here is perfect.
Play it free in your browser: https://beefsupremelatteking.itch.io/shark-bait (there is a Windows download too)

Shark Bait is a small, silly dive game, and the first public playtest is live.
You are shark bait on a rope. Dangle, stab piranhas, grab the cash, and get winched up before you get eaten. Then buy upgrades and go down again.
The blood summons Gary, an 18-metre megalodon. When he swallows you, keep stabbing. Every stab from the inside hurts him, and he remembers every one.
- Four seas, three bosses and an ending: about 3-4 hours
- Controls: move the mouse to steer, right-click or Space to winch up
What I would love to know: where did it get boring, where did it get hard, and what made you laugh? It is headed for Steam, and this playtest decides what changes first.
Hi everyone! I just released Danglepop, a cozy bubble shooter you can play free in your browser (or download for Windows).

Every node hangs from the ceiling by a visible link. Match three of a colour and they pop. Cut the last link holding a cluster and everything below it falls, for far more points. The aim guide shows exactly what a shot will pop and what it will drop before you take it.
- 80 levels in two acts. After level 40 the ceiling goes and each board hangs from a few gold threads.
- Stone rescues, shot-limit levels, bombs and rainbows.
- Endless mode with a saved best score.
- Clear patterns for players who can't tell colours apart, and a calm mode.
- Plays with a mouse, or on a phone held sideways.

I'd love to hear which levels feel too easy or too hard, and whether the aim guide makes the idea clear straight away. Thanks for taking a look!
