Hey, that’s pretty cool! It’s dope that you two ended up building a tool to solve a problem you ran into while making your own game.

I’d be interested in checking it out! Do you have a website or screenshots showing how it works?

Also, I’d still be happy to exchange honest game feedback if you have anything playable. Thanks for reaching out!

The vision was just remaking a game from my childhood vib ribbon then i tried to tie in bits from Tetris effect.

I’m new to game development. So i wanted to make something simple and small.

Thanks so much for trying my game. If you have a game you are working on definitely send the link so i can check it out.

Play here: https://bigmecha.itch.io/nebula

Nebula is a rhythm game where you can import any song and play to the beat!

Try a song or two and let me know: Are the controls clear? Can you easily read the notes? Does playing feel connected to the music?

Leave your game link and what you’d like feedback on, and I’ll play it and share an honest written review in return. Constructive criticism is welcome! Star ratings are entirely optional and aren’t part of the exchange. But honestly it would make my day as i haven’t gotten one before.

I’m also looking for a new name. If I choose your suggestion, I’ll credit you in the game!

Thanks for taking the time to help. I’m looking forward to checking out what you’re making!

Nebula is a free browser rhythm game, so there’s nothing to download.

Play one built-in song and tell me:

    • Did the notes feel connected to the music?
    • What confused you?
    • Would you play another song?

If you play enough to form an opinion, an honest itch rating would also help a lot. I’ll test your game in return.

Thanks for trying my game!

In the next update, I’ll be using the chart maker to create hand charted versions of the built-in songs.

For now, the built-in tracks are there so people without music files can still play. They’re currently generated using the auto-chart system.

Thanks for trying my game. I’ve added several updates, including copyright free songs and a difficulty checker for both new and preloaded tracks.

Additionally there is now a chart maker and texture packs in the game now.

I don't have many testers/players so i can’t confirm how polished it is from player to player but in theory it should be pretty functional now.

(Also the graphics panel crash should be fixed now)

Any additional feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Game Title: Nebula

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a small rhythm game called Nebula and I’d love some feedback.

It’s inspired by Vib-Ribbon, but instead of pre-made levels, the game analyzes music and generates obstacles from the beat in real time. You match shapes to stay alive and build a combo.

**Features:**

* Auto-generated levels from music

* Simple shape-matching gameplay

* Score + combo system

* Fast, arcade-style runs

It’s completely free to play right now.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on how the game *feels* (timing, difficulty, readability, etc.)

Thanks to anyone who tries it 🙏
