Looks super cool.  A few things a bit inconsistent with the theme and graphics, and perhaps just a little but of throwing too much (as in features) in that kind of makes it a little confusing to play, but overall a really nice job.  Thanks for the demo.

I really liked it, got to the dragon first go.

The turn speed really suffers once you get your light really large.  Considering how tight your rooms are and the lack of AI for most enemies I'd just stop the light getting more than 1 or 2 larger than the starting amount.  Also the scrolling text is a little annoying.

I hope you keep working on it.

Heya - I've also been making an RL for the C64, and I just wanted to come onver and say that keep up the good work!  Its a real struggle with a lot of these things, particularly in a game with lots of things to keep track of and systems in play, so all my best wishes for your continued progress!

I hope the new project is going well!  I've made a lot of progress on mine and happy to share some of the results of a lot of work with you, particularly if your new project is still a roguelike.

All i can say is that AI will only get you so far - you must inject your own ideas or you wont get anywhere.  Stick at it.

AMAZING!  I am currently building one (no where near as pretty, very much old school) for the c64.  I am so impressed by what I can see.  Do you have a devlog, or something about how you went about doing it, and the decisions you made?
