As an artist myself I really loved the sprites and animations here! :3 There's a bit of hitbox jank and the camera could be further, small things that could've been tweaked given a little more time I guess, but all in all very solid little game! 

Slightly janky (to be expected so no problem!), and after tens of tries and resets was finally able to beat the first level. Was not sure if it was me or the game that was having trouble :D The second one was somehow easier to get through :D

Fun concept for sure, amazing what people can come up with ^^ awesome as your first game jam game!
