i have a few questions:

1.) in some games you can have sex with other characters while officially dating someone else. how is it in this game? once my character is officially dating someone, are all sex scenes with other character locked/will there be ""jealousy""/break up from the "currently dating character"? can you officially date multiple characters at the same time?

2.) is MC´s "position" (dominant/submissive) connected to the crew respect? is it possible to play as a submissive MC with high crew respect/dominant MC with low crew respect?
what other things does crew respect influence? will there be less sex scenes with high crew respect?
also does MC´s gender/genitalia matter? im asking since on the wiki, it seems that many dominant scenes require a penis? sowhen i play as a female MC, am i ""forced"" to play as a submissive?

3.) any timesensitive things? like time limited quests/scenes/etc.

4.) how important are stats? are there for example quests that can ONLY be solved if you have the right stats (as in: you need 15 cunning or the quest fails)?
are "skill checks" based on a roll or a threshhold? if it depends on a roll/rng, is it possible to reroll by loading a previous save/go back a "page"?

i just finished the demo and i really liked it and im excited about the story.
i have a few questions:

1.) i know that the whole story leans into horror etc., but i wanted to ask if there will be jumpscares or something similar?e.g. after going to sleep and using the mouse to move, i feared/exspected a jumpscare

2.) during character creation we can choose a "background" for MC (troublemaker/popular kid/etc.). how important will those be?
e.g. do i have to pick a specific one to get the (hypothetical) best ending/be able to romance someone

3.) regarding romance:
a) will the romance/flirt options be marked as such? i sometimes have trouble identifying those as such.
b) would i miss too many romance/flirt options//scenes, if i decide to go with other characters?
e.g. in the demo we can decide to either "go with the group" OR "go with Madeleine". if i want to romance Stephanie, should i pick the "go with group" option, to potentially get a romance/flirt option with her?
c) will MC´s "background" have any (positive/negative) influence on the romance? will certain RO´s "prefer" a background?
e.g. if Mc is a troublemaker, will a RO, who is also a troublemaker have a unique reaction/scenes because of this?//also reverse, as in: troublemaker MC with ""nerdy"" RO

4.) if the game have multpile different endings (worst/bad/good/best) how difficult will it be to get the good/best ending? how smart of a detective do i, the player, need to be? will it be enough to simply not do "stupid" things or would i need to be a real-life sherlock holmes?
exaggerated example: "banish the evil demon" VS "do nothing and let the demon destroy the world"

i wanted to ask for advice/tips for certain endings and if some are even possible.
i am aware thats its near impossible to share a whole playthrough/all chocies, but maybe you could tell me the most important choices to make/to avoid to get the specific endings. e.g. i have the feeling that "becoming a pornstar" locks you out of mayn endings, but also if i remember correctly, than i never had a chance to decline? its been a while since i last played it, so im not sure how accurate this is.
also i am aware of the walkthrough by MrBubu, but honestly i never really understood how i should use it.

- is it possible to get the whole Eric as boyfriend/marriage/baby ending while also playing a bad girl Ashley?
- what is required to get the "Arthurs wife"-ending? is it possible for bad girl Ashley?

really like the game so far and im excited for what this game can become in the future.

may i ask a few questions:
- will it be possible for the MC to become pregnant?

- will there be multiple different routes? e.g. an enslaved-route when you dont escape/a rebellion-route/etc.

- will the game continue after you escape on a ship? or will the whole game be contained on the starter continent?

- will it be possible to for example create your own town?

one thing i would like to suggest is more choice during sex scenes. e.g. being able to choose/suggest whos top/what position/etc.

will the archetype-options always appear in a group of three, meaning i can only choose between archetype choices OR can it happen that i will have the choice to choose e.g. 2 options which changes  nothing regarding the archetype and than 1 option which gives the MC +1 in destroyer.

EDIT: now that i started playing, i word my question differently:
very often i can choose from 3 different option (top/middle/bottom). does this mean everytime i e.g. choose the bottom option, i get +1 in the ruler archetype? or will sometimes option not increase the archetype-scala?

just saw the notification for the chapter 3 announcement, which reminded me of something.

during my first ever playthrough, i was able to get a specific scene: 
MC was currently on the ship to the new city. then they take out the "chalice" (its been a while, so i dont remember exactly what, but it was the item we were tasked to find), think about what to do with it, before thowing it into the ocean.

i really liked this scene, but on following playthroughs i was never be able to get this scene again.
so i wanted to ask how/which choices i have to make to get this scene? or did i imagine this scene and it doesnt exist?

1) im from germany and from my experience, if a game have even contain only a slightly amount of nsfw elements, it gets usually blocked from germany/german steam store. i was wondering, if the itch.io and steam version will be exactly the same or if the steam version have e.g. for content?

the picture above the sentence "~ 30+ characters (Oh, on the right is your possible character!)" shows only the player characters upper body and from that picture alone it clearly shows a female character.

maybe you could add the "male protagonist"-tag to your game? atleast in that case its clear, that players cant play as a female player character.

just found the game and it looked interesting. i chose a female MC (choosing "other" genes). but so far every character only calls her by male pronouns//man//etc.

i wanted to ask if this is a bug? i am confused, since the gamepage shows a female MC ("Oh, on the right is your possible character!")and the game dont have a tag, saying that there is only a male protagonist.

just finished a new run with the update and i really like it. i admit i hoped that we would reunite with the troupe in this chapter, but it just means im more excited for the next one.

two short questions:
- in the new "chapter" my MC was obsessed with sweetrolls. was this because of the one choice i made when Mer brought the wine as a gift?

- at the end of the new "chapter" there was a... surprise attack of someone or something. in my case i had to use 7 insight to avoid any injury. i would like to ask if the potential injury would have mayor consequences down the line? or can i save the insight without much concerns?

so i played the demo and what can i say? i still like your writing style and also like the story and characters. i know i repeat myself, but i liked Viatica and also like Cantata.

i really liked the pet scene; the one where MC´s pet sleeps ontop of Jonah reminded me of the "dad dont want pet/family still gets it/dad & pet:..."-meme.

one question (and this one is not specific to this IF): in many other If´s there are a differnet between a braid-hairstyle and a braids-hairstyle, but whenever i google it, i get the same result for both: a similar one to Calliope´s hairstyle. so what exactly is the difference between those hairstyles. sorry for asking you this question, this one was always one who i had once i encountered it ingame, but never remembered to actually ask.

also im probably romance Corinne; to me she seem quite interesting and fits to my more vengeful MC.

anyways im excited for the next chapter and had fun reading chapter 2.

me too. saw the announcement during morning and was really excited the whole day and wanted to do a calm reread with snacks. now im sitting here in little disappointment...

so far i really like your game. i admit, i didnt play much, so i cant say much more, but so far its really promising.

some things i want to mention:

- like others already said, i think the save system is not optimal, atleast for me personally. when playing theses type of games, im often split: on one hand i want to see the naughty parts, on the other hand i dont want to intentionally loose. it feels wrong to me. thats why i usually save before a new enemy, loose intentionally and go through the scenes, before reloading and continue normally. if i then loose, its my fault. i think, your idea of having a autosave and a seperate manual save slot would be great.

==> kinda a follow up question: will the naughty/pregnancy scenes only accessable by loosing to the enemies? or will we at some point meet e.g. a friendly swarmie/beastkin or get a small tentacle to take home for "private" use?

- what does the 3 hearts under the stamina bar mean? my guess is that you loose one if your health reaches 0; and if you have lost all 3, you have to restart the level.?

- small suggestion: maybe add a keybind for the character status page (where you can see the pregnancy and so on)? also maybe a explanation/tutorial, i was and am confused what the health bar mean OR after intentionall loosing to the tentacle and stand up, there where 2 new symbols.

just recently found this game and played it till the first time we arrive back to the house. so far i really like it.

i have some questions:

1.) does the outfits we can choose have any effects on the story/gameplaywise? e.g. will people comment if catherine walks around with the lady death outfit?

==> also this only happens with the hairstyles, but i can select even the locked ones. dont know if i would be able to use them in the future or if they are only a visual bug.

2.) ive read about a character named marius, who make a proposal, which locks you out of other characters nsfw scenes

a) is he the only character who locks you out? or will every romance (?) option at some point offer a similar choice?

b) can i "mess up" relationship if i choose to flirt with almost everyone?

3.) are there timesensitive events/quests/...?

since you mentioned triv being an introvert, does this mean their relationship will increase slower? e.g. at the point of the festival i had 50% with welling, will i have around the same % with triv at this point? and yes, i have a bit of FOMO interms of relationships not only in IF´s but also in RPG-games.

to (1): to you mean the scene where you can either go to the professor or go with welling to the training yard? because at this point i could only choose between those two options. i assume it means, i cant choose to attack venali when he talks about the corruption in the kingdom, right? in that case, which other option would lead my MC to the dean?

my small suggestion: it wasnt clear to me, that triv is connected to venali. maybe i missed some passage ingame. so maybe you could add something to the characters description here on itch, e.g. "they are (good) friends with triv/venali". or maybe i was really just blind.

i really liked the game and the story. also i think your writing is quite good. i can really imagaine the scenes in my head. i still have some questions:

1.) so far there are a lot of welling-options and only one trivelyn-option to increase relationship. did i miss some? in the end i had 50% welling and only 5% trivelyn. i usually choose my romance options before playing, so i was a little disappointed, since i really wanted to romance trivelyn, but when the choice came up where you choose with whom you go to the festival trivelyn was greyed out.

=>i was going for the darkness affinity. does this mean that certain romances are locked out depending on your affinity? if so, i suggest mentioning this somewhere.

2.) if you check MC´s stats there are 3 bars affinity aptitude/intellect/strength. i assume that over the story, we will be able to increase them. will the choice for that always be obvious, like "you decide to train X" OR will it be more hidden.?

==> will i be able to increase all of them OR will i have to focus on one/two of them at one point?

3.) after some point during chapter 3(?) the control/wicked/deceitful-bars disappeared and instead a description appeared. does this mean MC´s personality cant change anymore/is locked in? if so i really like it. personally i dont like it if IF´s have personality-bars for the MC, since that would be another thing to look out for (and potential reload) incase i have a specific character in mind. so this method of being able to influence the personality bars up to a certain point and then locking them is something i really like.

4.) how much will the stats (personality and aptitude/intellect/strength) influence the story? will they only be for flavour or can they lock you out of mayor story relevant choices?

again, i really like the story and world, but i also have to admit that i stopped the game when i reached the festival choice, and send this post, just to get an answer for the whole "no relationship with trivelyn"-problem.

PS: this is an bug i encountered. i chose trivelyn to be female, but the last option uses male pronouns. btw. this was the only choice ive encountered, where i could increase the relationship with her by 5%.

just finished this game and it was a blast. i was really intrigued in the story and world and was sad, that the demo was finished.

i have 4 questions:

1.) how many endings will th game have? will it be a) always the same ending, b) the same ending but with variations OR c) completely different endings depending on your choices (like good/neutral/evil ending with variation of romatic/platonic/....)

2.) will other choices besides the romance ones (marked with hearts; btw i only had 2, maybe 3 of them; are there more?) influence the relationship with Mathias? e.g. in my playthrough Mathias proposed to my MC. was this happening because i chose all romantic options or did this only happen because i made other, independent choices ==> if i side with Mandreis during the bonus story, will it "reduce the romance score"?

3.) are there more informations about the second game of this series "Ward the Dragon, Love the King"? if not, could you share some teasers, like will we play as the same character as in this game or will the ending/choices of this game matter in the second one?

4.) once the full game is released, will you release a "guide" about how to e.g. unlock certain scenes/archetypes/endings?

EDIT: just scrolled through some comments and noticed, that the MC can have 2/3 different archetypes. a.) i read about seeker/destroyer/ruler archetype. is one of them "bad" and the other "good"? or does these represent different personalities of the MC, like would a seeker-MC be more tactical, while a destroyer-MC trusts more on their power? b.) how much influence will the archetypes have over the story. will they mayorly change the story or only some choices? c.) at which point are the archetypes decided aka will the archetypes change during the game or not? d.) is it possible to get the ruler archetype. how?

i have one question: how difficult will it be to reach a good ending/epilogue aka winning the succession? what i mean is; do i (the player) need to be a mastermind/businessman-woman myself and always be 10 steps ahead OR can i reach the "good" ending simply by not choosing obvious bad choices (e.g. make a plan for the next meeting VS be lazy)

hi, really like the game. i think i completed everthing, but i have 2 questions:

1.) is there an additional/new epilogue, once i completed the trials? or is it open ended?

2.) only item missing is the ballgag. is this only avaiable on certain paths?

well, i just finished the story and i can only repeat what i siad ain my earlier comments: i love the story, your writing style, basicly everything.

of course i wish taht the epilogue would be longer, but that can be said about every chapter and the story overall. 

i want to talk about save files. i know that there arent one, because of the software (?) you used. and i dont think its bad with a linear game like this one (not saying its bad because of this). i personally like saves, no matter how long or linear a game is, nut this is because i treat IF the same a i would books: once i ead them, i usually dont read them again for some time. in addition, once i reread a IF, i usually stick to my canon/favourite route (i sometimes choose different dialogue, but big main choices/RO stay the same). if i try something different, it feels to me like ripping pages out of a book. with saves i could have e.g. made a ave before the big decision (stay vs leave), choose the leave option first and then reload back to my canon path.

to be clear, i completlely understand if you want to use the same software (?) you used and most importantly, not having saves isnt a dealbreaker for me. just wanted  to share my thoughts and reasoning for that, since i have the feeling that my opinion on saves (both for IFs and games) isnt quite popular.

anyways, im really excited for your new IF (btw, ive read that you had posted a sneakpeak/hint about what your new If will be; could u mabe post a link to this specific post?) and... well the author-equivalent of "break a leg". ;)
