How do you get the one scene where you lose but don't game over consistently? Idk why I get it sometimes and other times I don't

The update is really fun but goddamn have I forgotten basic math. Been on the calculus grind for too long and now my ass is saying 8+5 = 14.

1) What do the different nails do?

2) After you jump in the hole there seems to be 2 invisible walls, is that the end so far?

I actually meant true ending, I can never get the bar far enough. I am willing to accept that this is a skill issue though lol. Thanks for the help tho!

How do you get the third ending? I never seem to get close to getting it.

Not sure if i'm missing a mechanic but I can't seem to get past the third mission. The mutation I need to collect just doesn't show up enough times for me to get to the correct level. Am I doing something wrong?
