So aside from being a little buggy (Nico's third chat isn't loading at all and I can't move on) it's cute, but I'd prefer if there were more diversity instead of mostly twinks and a couple twunks... Bo by far is my fav vid but...

It's okay but because of the style of game you chose and the tile sets, it is a bit hard to read enemy paths, I recommend finding a way to make it clearer, especially if you plan to make it harder, especially because the most effective system available is constantly saving/checkpoints.
Also, sadly there is no sexual content yet, only nudity, though Jamal is fucking hot
Okay... Not a whole lot to go on other than a massive lore dump in V0-1 but it's not the worst. I'm just a little put off by some of the wording. I really, REALLY hope that this is not one of those games that is exclusively small top. It is a major turn off for me and I would be greatly disappointed for having my time wasted if it was exclusive like that without any warning. By no means do I want it excluded for people who like that but I also don't want to be excluded.
Woah, you implemented a lot of what was asked! Looks much better and much easier to reliably farm... but Dylan and Mark are still broken (maybe?) Level 2, Night Psyche 101 nor Level 2 Night Living Room are appearing after both minor scenes are complete for either of them.
Hey! Don't sweat it. It's been a long time since you last posted and this is only the initial phase so a few errors and bugs aren't that bad considering how massive this first release is. Thanks for the excellent game!
Unfortunately you did, in the introductory scene with them after picking up the rock it does refer to Mark as Dad and Evan as Brother and how taboo it would be to be intimately involved with them and at the same time and how it would be wrong but doesn't feel like it. Like I said I love it so, if you do plan to change it, I would request that you include the inverse and make sure that for the people who want it, it is still an option.
Also thank you for your super prompt response! I know you likely have a life to live outside of this so thanks!
It's pretty good, missing a lot of media that I assume you'll add over time BUT unfortunately broken in two spots. Cedar Terrace didn't open until day 19 (just after I made a bug report) and even then there was no scene to select, effectively locking Dylan's story and Ridgeway Athletics could be selected as soon as it was available in my story but no map appeared nor did any selectable scene effectively locking Mark's. I loved it but it is very rough around the edges which is to be expected of a first released community project.
Some changes I would make.
First the maps or more particularly the Map UI (Though the main map is a little strange looking for the selectable options). I would keep selections to a minimum for this because it is extremely messy as is and towards the end they started severely overlapping, like the final scenes for the Masseuse and the Receptionist being the best(worst) example as they overlapped almost entirely. I would change it so that you could select the building (Room, Area, Person) (it itself being the highlightable) which would bring you to a new scene, giving you the ability to describe the scene and the person within it, then a small menu for the selectable scenes.
Second, personally I love the incest but not everyone does, make it a togglable option with slightly adjusted language... or don't... I love it as is. (Option to make Mark Landlord. Evan can remain his son or become Roommate. Some people like being caught between Parent and Child... literally)
Third, display the costs and rewards clearly at all times because it's terrible to make the player have to keep track of that themselves, especially when they are so distracted.
Fourth, more morning and any time activities, hopefully with a bit more variety because you only have 3 scenes to grind in the morning for the entire game. The masturbation for 2 Primal and 1 Ego (a pittance) and other scenes that both give you the choice of 5 Utility and 5 Possession.
Ok... so I have data management issues (but I do only have like 10 gigs on primary drive for anything and doesn't include all the shit I can't get rid of because Microsoft, like Edge) so I try to install my games naughty and otherwise to my second drive that has hundreds of gigs... unfortunately your launcher doesn't not let you chose where to install the game so when I tried using the launcher it just straight up failed. I mean I think I can still make it work but...
You have a working game, Congrats! That is not something just anyone can accomplish so kudos to you.
Unfortunately it isn't a very good game and strongly reemphasizes why pure RNG is actually really bad game design.
Gameplay: Tremendously Frustrating but difficulty isn't exactly the issue, because difficulty implies agency and skill which is unfortunately not a part of this conversation because RNG took them out behind the chemical shed and shot them both dead. The puzzles are actually easy but I frequently find the puzzles impossible to solve because I simply cannot get the pipes I need, instead I keep getting the same corner pipe that is completely useless over and over and over and over and over again. (At one point I had like ten of them in a far corner while I was trying to get something I could actually use and still had 4 of those same corner pieces in my available pipes.) Also cross pipes (and the thankfully absent T pipes) are no bueno because they increase the difficulty several fold because you triple your outputs.
If I were to redesign this in anyway, I would toss the Pipe box out the window and instead do something similar to Bioshock where all the pipes are already there, and the pipes necessary to solve the puzzle are guaranteed to be present but scrambled in with a bunch of other pipes, though I wouldn't hide them under covers or anything.
Aesthetics: Needs a lot of work. Especially the very flat and boxy art, very 20nots MS Paint. Also the game can be larger than that small corner it seems to insist upon, but that is a consistent problem, you have a ton of space with nothing but flat color to occupy it.
Story/Scenes: Not pretty but cute.

Awesome! and yes it is just as hot as I wanted it to be. Sadly the cum doesn't stay and there is a mild image overlay issue but I'm still a very happy camper.
One time at band camp... I learned to play the Tromboner... You slide it up and down...
The texture overlay issues happen in 3 places. With the armor there is a little bit of pubes over it with no pants or underwear but it is hardly noticeable, it is much more noticeable if the shirt is on and lastly if you have pants on, click hard cock, then take the pants off he has both a flaccid and a hard cock.
Still love it.
Interesting... seems a bit slow to update but I can understand that this is 2nd to living your life, I just hope we get more soon, also can't wait for the demons, but I am a bit of a daemophile. Please make an "ugly" demon or two (I would be very happy with a big scary demon that is very well endowed (and large and muscular which seems you've got down pretty good) especially if he's a bit monstrous. (lipless, jagged-toothed grin, aura of intimidation, etc...)
I would greatly appreciate you do one of two things.
a) Add [a] masculine body type(s)
or
b) remove the gay tag because futanari are not men (no really, the entire idea is to be a hypersexualized 3rd gender, not a chick with a dick or a dude with breasts) and especially not futanari having sex with futanari. This is especially the case when you literally cannot make a character that doesn't have breasts (yes a character with 0 in all breast adjustments still has breasts large enough to jiggle and be held in a bra and not a flat chest) and a hyper feminine/cis female body.
Gay needs to be exclusive to gay men because we literally almost have no other tags without reaching really far or have exclusions. Lesbian, Futanari, Fem-Boy, Sissy, almost every kink has the ability to have exclusive categorization EXCEPT for gay men. (Yaoi and Bara have specific art styles and regional specifications "forcing" them to exclude certain content. (And even if it isn't forced they still do.))
While this is a LGBT game it isn't a "Gay" game (at least yet).
So the ending cards are bugged and don't show anything. Also could we get a download please. Oh and you need to add more bulls... Snares are being hit all of the time but bulls almost never happen. Over 5 games there has only been 1 bull. I was the target which as a gay dude I loved but it is way to infrequent.
Um... You can probably re-upload your game on Itch here as long as it is free. That is one of the things that they've made their full decision on after some deliberation during all of this. It is kind of a bandage answer but the payment company issue, if nothing is done about it, will still effect you the same way.
Of course I understand if you are still offended just remember that this is a team with a size in the single digits.
Thanks. Played it some... It isn't bad so far but I'm not terribly far into it.
Some people won't like the art style... Like Ni No Kuni but retro... though the music is a bit repetitive and grating.
Also just a warning there are almost no tutorials.
Mechanically there are a couple of other issues. The targeting system is terrible. Functional... but terrible. When you are within a certain distance looking at something you get a highlight of where it is... but this is for both allies and enemies and it is all based on movement. Forcing you to be constantly be aware of your formation and try to wiggle just enough to make the target stick. This isn't bad in itself except this is also an issue if you are trying to flank and even sometimes standing side by side. So yeah... not the best.
Also there are no indications of ranges except for movement. Attack range? Spell range? (Yes the spell says but what does it mean?). One easy solution solves both this and the former entry... but of course it's coding so is anything easy? Anyway... adding a cursor (functioning like movement but not moving the character) to combat.
Also the menus are cumbersome and not intuitive to use and they are too sensitive for analog sticks. Still kudos on getting controllers to work with the game!
Still its a decent game so far if a bit easy, (did die once but that was before I figured out the core of flanking.
Still cute so far and I'm only like an hour in, there looks to be more mechanics I haven't found yet.
So um... It's not working. I can't extract almost anything from the zip... at all. I've tried downloading it twice but I can only extract 5 resources (and the folders just nothing in most of them.) The only 5 things I can get are
FoliageData_alvenia, app.info, and sharedassests#.resources: 2, 5 and 9.
Everything else including the executable and download isn't working. I'm going to try restarting my computer and maybe delete this if it works but otherwise... I really don't know.
Let me preface this with an appreciation for reaching out to share your story and creation. Now for judgements based solely on presentation and assumptions. First the game doesn't look bad at all, though I am not a fan of it being presented prior to translation to English but I'm just bitterly a monolinguist but am glad to hear that it could possibly be translated. Second, really not a fan of profile requirements and microtransactions... that shit always hate our hostilely nepotist and vehemently "capitalist" economy, but I do appreciate that you are upfront about it. Lastly, I am skeptical to your actual ability to translate this project as your page description leaves a lot to be desired because either it's a barely passable translation or not a very good AI creation. It's off-putting as the wording, adjectives, and grammar are all just... para-natural, like giving off that uncanny valley kind of feel. I.E. it describes the characters as Furry Orcs and as Orcs in the first two sentences when we clearly see that the characters are just simply furrys or anthropomorphic animals, I however have seen this and an inaccuracy in translation before. So again, it's just not quite right even if it is a correct translation.
O.O Yes please! defo one of my kinks along with the size difference that was already present!
I mostly said that because I know that AI art has its limitations, like adding certain aspects and multiple characters. (I mean protagonist and the captain are almost identical, with captain only having more scaring.) I do personally prefer real artists doing real work, but I also understand that circumstances be as they may, one person cannot master everything and if it requires you to use AI art to put forth your creations and ideas, or they would never come out, so be it. Thank you for sharing your creation and story with us!
I'm ready to make a review but I haven't found all of the endings... honestly just too much padding. I got both normal endings and the Missing Ending (twice even though I had both all the Orc notes (not Captain Notes) during the final attempt.) I've played through the entire thing 5 times (once lost due to resetting) and I'm not doing it again because it's a waste of time at this point. Please provide a guide so that I can see them all.
Hey @Xperiment I really love the game you've made, it is hella fun. It would be cool if you could add MC character art. I do understand modular art is difficult, both in drawing and coding but I've seen it done by a few others most prominent example being Wolfbite's Extracurricular Activities and I am by no means expecting full CG's with the MC like the aforementioned game (Very fucking impressive that the modular art is included in the CGs). I think it would be more than just blank silhouette figure.
I must agree, I understand that you created this world with love and want to share this with everyone, but it would be better to make this more game-like instead of visual novel-like. You went into great detail explaining S.I.A. but your systems don't matter much if one cannot interact with them. Allow the players to explore the world and discover this lore for themselves instead of it just being told to you in a massive unending dialog. You have a wonderful idea that I would love to experience but your presentation and execution is too indigestible.
If you do wish to keep the visual novel aspect. Here are few key points. It is a novel, the system itself doesn't function for the viewer but for the protagonist. It is also in itself a character as well as a tool, we don't really need to know much more than that.
To address the pacing issue, we should look at the second character Sia. Sia is supposed to be an artificial intelligence but is acting far to consciously in that regard. An AI's singular goal is to complete its programing putting it into a reactionary role. PC should be the one in the active asking, questions and giving Sia further directives. Having the character be the active party and making the discoveries naturally, you can have your world be revealed bit by bit in a far more consumable manner while also providing gaps for other things to happen.
I don't mean to disrespect you as an artist or person or belittle your effort and work. It is still very expensive for $4 a picture. The comment 'oh its cheaper if you follow me on patreon' still sounds really bad. Yes that isn't exactly what you said but that is how it sounds to me when I read it especially with "and wait for them to be sent" which in itself sound extremely yikes.
All of this really makes me run for the hills not buy the art outright nor provide money in a monthly subscription.
