Not a dumb question at all, but no, not really. This port was relatively manageable because a C version of Celeste already exists, so a big chunk of the work was already cut out for me. A more general Pico-8 converter might be possible in theory, but the scope would be massive, so I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

Hey! Both files are actually the same version of the game. The reason the version numbers differ is that itch.io's butler tool maintains a separate upload counter for each channel, one for the raw PS-EXE and one for the disc image. The PS-EXE channel had a few extra CI pushes early on (toolchain fixes) before the disc image channel even existed, so it's at a higher number. But the game code itself is identical in both.
