Hopefully the "brief history" is enough to get the vibe. The music was supposed to be the focal point for this particular project, anyway!

Some really nice sounds in these pieces! I'm not a visual artist at all but I really enjoy your visual work and certainly wish I could do some of what you can in that department. The images correspond with the music very well and create a very effective vibe.

Starting in 2022, the artist/developer Argonbolt commissioned me to write and record some soundtrack music for his visual novels, both of which are available here on Itch: "Volt" (from 2024) and "Nibeos" (from 2022). It was clear right away that Argonbolt has very cool taste in music and a good concept for what's needed to tell a story. I enjoyed the hell out of writing, recording, and producing these tracks, and I hope you enjoy listening to them!

Hah, this is cool! Man, the Zeal theme is one of my very favorite pieces in VGM history. Still gives me chills. Schala, too. (and HELL yes Chrono Cross reissue, I've been waiting for that for a decade!)

Wow, a hell of a good job on this. The sounds are all really effective and the feel is straight-up phauwnky which isn't easy to make happen! And you did this all without a DAW? I can't imagine that. Very impressive.

I'm a massive fan of Skyrim and its soundtrack, and your pieces do a really nice job of evoking the feel of that game. You did a great job with those Spitfire samples, too, they sound very convincing!

Beautiful piece, those bell keyboards are haunting along with the piano. Effectively creepy-but-pretty!

Cool production and arrangement! The dark piano and epic drums definitely get the job done. Nice work.
