Awesome! Can't wait to see what else you bring to the next version.

Great work so far! It's a ton of fun and very forgiving, and I really enjoyed how that allowed for a lot of experimenting. It would be nice to rotate the entry point to each house for cleaner roads, but maybe that's all part of the challenge. I hope you keep working on this!

Wonderful! A perfect game boy experience. Fantastic art and music, clever puzzles, and lovely character design. I wish it was a full game!

You're a legend—I'll definitely let you know about the release, but more importantly it's great to hear this dog finally has a home! It's such a great design and there's so much character in it. And maybe one day you'll revisit that old game too!

Wonderful, thanks amigo! It's just an adjustment to match the old 320x200 EGA style games. This character is so far above what I could accomplish, so it means a lot that you've shared it with the world! And if it's cool with you, I'd love to include a credit and link back to your page on the project?

Hey there! I wanted to double-check your terms-- If I purchase these,am I allowed to modify/edit these sprites to fit the art style of my game?

You're the best! Thank you for playing and reporting the bugs (all fixed). Unlimited passports definitely breaks the immersion :)

Part 2 is nearly finished... I hope you enjoy following Detective Watts into the Panamanian jungle!

Hey! Thanks so much for playing! Your feedback was wonderful to hear, the PQ world is a high bar to meet. And your user name makes you a prime suspect for this game :)

As a fellow Mac user, you're totally right that it's hard to find adventure games for this platform. Full credit to Adventure Game Studio and Itch for making it so easy to do!

I hope you enjoy the next episode! See you in court, Taselli!

Thank you very much! It means a lot!

Thanks so much! It's great to hear the interface works well—it worked well in PQ3, and it was a lot easier to code than the text parser :) Great work catching the easter eggs, detective!

Fantastic updates!

This is incredible! Amazing work

Another incredible set! So good!

Hey! Your music is fantastic - thanks for sharing it with the world!

Thanks so much for playing! And for stopping by!

Yo ho! So much piratey fun and fantastic puzzles. Hopefully many more adventures to come!

An extraordinarily original game in every way! The writing gives so much depth to the story and characters with such efficiency, and never feels like "writing". The sound design is terrifying, and keeps you hanging on every word and room change. And the art is both perfectly unnerving and full of incredibly effective animations (the waving wheat, the ground getting close). What a wonderful piece!

A really addictive game, and so well made! Fantastic work!

What a wonderfully moody, unnerving world you've created. It's really refreshing to have such a passive tone in such a cataclysmic genre, and being caught in between cosmic-level helplessness and the adventure-game genre's need to act is a really fascinating mix!

I really hope you continue to develop this game. You're clearly a great world and character builder, and I think if you can iron out the bugs, make the interface a bit more responsive, and hold the player's hand a little less, this will be an incredible experience!

And good luck at MAGS! You should make a game page for this on the forums so more people can see it!

I reached 12700 and now my mouse needs a new battery!

Fantastic—Thanks for playing!

A walkthrough is available now! Let me know if it helps

Thank you for playing! Great to hear you enjoyed it, and that the balance of Sierra-ity is right. Part two is in progress!

I can't express how much I loved this game. Everything that an adventure game can do right, Mallicious does in spades.

The concept, story, writing, art, music, characters, puzzles, red herrings, the ending - all of it was just perfect. Every character was spectacularly written and brought to life. The parody, the commentary, the dialog. It's so hard to talk about how outstanding everything was without spoilers!

I never wanted to leave that wonderful mall. Thank you for sharing this incredible game with the world!

Oh I see! I should have mentioned this in the original post. Yes that's the goal—I'm very eager to finish it!

How do you mean? This was for a one-month game challenge, so there was only time to create the first part.
