yeah no complaints on that. balancing takes a while to get down.

Love the game. animation is excellent, variety of enemies is good. A side-scrolling protagonist that doesn't die in water?! Unheard of! My only annoyance is that some enemies (mushrooms and lizards in particular) corrupt way too slowly compared to the others. But that's just a balancing thing. Hoping goblins show up in the next level though. Looking forward to watching this game develop. and absolutely thank you for no ai.
doing some google image searches from feeding this in, it looks like the artist may be https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/daigaijin/
Also within the search, here's some more fanart, but on the bluesky side of things. https://bsky.app/profile/unidedtypingobject.bsky.social/post/3koypmlxcaa2x
Sadly, chapter 3 isn't as good as the others. At least from a gameplay level. Your choice in skills at the start do absolutely nothing for deciding if you are successful or fail. Since there's no branching pathways like the others, so matter what you choose, there's only one path.
Also not sure how the corruption thing from failing works when almost the entire chapter takes place in his real world.
Both of the current chapters were all worth the wait, and I'm sure the remaining ones will be as well. Obviously a part of me is doing the hands beating on table gif 'now now now!' because I'm eager to see what the next scenario he gets himself in, but I shall be patient, and continue to support on subscribestar the entire time (unless financially unable.)
oh, I also want to compliment you for the level design. I really liked how you could see out windows and it could give you hints as to what to come, or where to go. for example, in one of the later levels I got a green key. I remember seeing a green door but forgot where. but as I was backtracking I saw it through one of the windows. It also helped keep it from feeling like an underground bunker like all the Wolfenstein clones
