idk man, wine is weird sometimes

very fun shooter! i’ve seen games already where your health is tied to the countdown, but this is the first time i’ve seen ammo/any other meter interconnected as well! the ability to choose upgrades is nice because i can pick things that mesh with my playstyle.

very interesting mix of turn-based and real-time movement, though i didn’t catch it was turn-based for a bit. one change i’d recommend is putting the controls ingame - i didn’t register that there were abilities until i was prompted to lock one. good art too, and very clear telegraphing of actions

very nice! i’m not the best at platformer combat so i liked how your health being the timer meant i could either fight an enemy or just collect enough time to walk right through it lol

very cool idea! i really like that i can use the gun as a weapon both when firing and when exploding so i can always do some damage

thanks! really glad people like the puzzle design, had to sacrifice level count for it to be good.

for that level, a hopefully vague hint: the gif’s solution won’t work by design. fortunately, bombs

a horror game??? in my gmtk game jam????

very spooky game but also very fun, love the moving on the beat and the grace that beating faster when almost caught gives you
also what proceeds after running out of food just makes you feel so helpless and alone, like you just let the poor rabbit die
absolute proof you don’t need words to tell a horror story

hons!

fun lil timing game! using HORSE as the keys was funny, tho my brain couldn’t handle it lol
and look at this hons

that is a determined hons
i love it

aw man, linux doesn’t seem to like unreal

no way we got KSP in GMTK

much fun, though aiming for the last fragment of the asteroid can be hard

i love Blake’s very concerned expression in the left picture at the end, it’s so goofy. i also wasn’t expecting jacked doggo lol

anyway, very clever! lovely combo of puzzling/planning and timing/execution.

it’s funny how ridiculously effective hopping in the air repeatedly in a circle is lol

deactivation code can be found over the phone. make sure to listen to all options

lovely puzzler with very cozy feel. funny enough, this probably would have worked for last year’s Loop theme too, so bonus!

sorry, never finished. too many minigames in a row where failing forces you to entirely restart the game, and a bugged description entry that showed “you” twice tripping me up enough to fail. great concept, and good execution on the individual minigames, but no ability to retry a single part kills it for me :(

need to get southvpn on my grandma right now

beat it! neat game, great art.

also wow it really does work rather well on weird resolutions image.png image.png (though i can’t recommend playing it at 64x470 lol)

also also the cause of font weirdness appears to be a missing space glyph - dunno why it’d only appear on web tho

ty! Would have loved to have made more, but as Mark Brown once said:

“All right! Puzzles! Puzzles… puzzles. Man!”

why is it so simple yet so good image.png only suggestion would be, as other comments have said, add basically a coyote time for the hooks - single-tile platforms can be really hard to hit.

also is there anything below the anglerfish? i kinda wanna see it but i also always run out of hooks before i could navigate the really high one-block platforms

very clever concept and great result! love the art and mechanics. only complaint is that the slightly offbeat sounds for actions kinda trip up the rhythm for me :(

clever little movement puzzler! took me a moment to notice the cracked wall, but not unfairly so. love the easter eggs too

neat lil idle game, managed to get it to the point where my clocks ticked every frame :>

(tho next time probably upload a .exe for all the people without nix :P)

i suppose he’s

down for the count

don’t mind me image.png

nice! got to round 38 with a x2 action + a lucky x2 spell, but unfortunately got run over by the down before i could draw the spell again :(

Probably the most clever use of the theme I’ve seen. Very WarioWare-esqe but still really unique. 👍

also i got first on the leaderboard :>

This is such a fun game to speedrun! Managed to get a time of 43.33. ~~Also somehow haven’t found a single bug; a rarity in a game jam!~~ The only thing I’d change is the tutorial for the high jump; I (along with someone else in the comments) kept jumping before following the instructions. Maybe put a line under Sisyphus to indicate that it’s to be done on the ground?

EDIT: found a single bug - managed to land on the very edge of a 90° slope corner and got a fire boost up the hill.

EDIT 2: 42.40 :>

Nice and cozy little game, with a bonus of no severe bugs! Really nice artstyle, Stratica did a good job 👍
Did find a couple of minor issues:

  • You can cast into the sky, which is more funny than anything
  • If the cast follows my cursor, the end of the fishing rod should probably be aligning to my mouse rather than the center of the boat.
  • My reel length goes a lot farther if I move quickly (e.g. going fast you can reach the bottom of the screen and get back to the boat, but moving slow you can run out at the bottom)

None of these were gamebreaking tho so all is good

Perhaps the tile could completely link to its neighbor, kinda like some Snake games:

Neat concept, and fairly good execution. The tiles have a nice vibe, and the colors don’t clash at all. The only things I’d change would be indicating the path you just took (the solid green tiles only show that it’s part of the path, not which direction it’s going) and counting each path as both ways (the fun is in finding the paths IMHO, not tracing a path you already know but backwards).

got so far but died to the 3-item limit
apparently scamming everyone wearing glasses using three jerseys and overpricing your stuff using 20 weapons the rest of the time isn’t enough to be a legendary shop owner

cute game with fun strategy and a pun in the title 10/10
