Another review,
Love Maniac 0.3.5 came out and I have to say, I've beaten the no hit (+ Second Round)
Some attacks have been improved like the one with the shooting round, it's sorta balanced compared to the one on 0.3.4 where it's just straight up random.
It's a huge improvement for anybody that want to try no hit runs.
The world slash (whatever you call it) is still annoying, I'm saying it's still awful but with the newly added wheel(?) knife attack, the chances of getting that has been lowered, which makes me tears up with tears of joy fr.
Probably not gonna be complainin' anymore considerin' I've beaten the no hit challenge lol.
Also the added background for the skins were a nice addition.
Especially the new scenes for Nebby and Frisk
Overall it was pretty nice 8/10.
P.S. I also like the addition of the main menu scene, it was nice :)

I'll start with the positive here, the game and animations looks way more gorgeous compared to the last versions, the scene also have some improvements to it with the added "Second Round" and a new character and skin to play around with. So yeah it was good. I like it.
Now the negative part.
Look alright, obviously not everyone here that's playing this game is a sweaty hardcore shmup/bullet hell players, so you putting in a "No Hit" requirement is just... come on dude. The scene wasn't even worth it...
I thought that there's gonna be some kissing or something hardcore for completing the No Hit challenge BUT NO, I hadn't even done the "strange pill" thing on the first time I beat it so imagine my surprise to find that I need to beat it AGAIN just to get the [SECOND ROUND].
I won't get into too much detail, and I'm sure you already read A LOT of the comments here complaining about the no hit run.
Another thing, the attacks barely have any pattern so if someone were to practice it, it wouldn't even matter! The damn hide behind the knives (or whatever the hell Chara has) is just TOO DAMN DIFFICULT. Even the Roaring Knight is more forgiving! I mean sure! SURE! There is some patterns like the cross knife attack. But the random slash attacks after you get the first threshold is just so much BULLSHIT. Especially the part where I need to go up and down (not to be mistaken with the Up and Down knives section). Either I suck or I have to rely on how lucky I am.
I kept repeating doing it over and over again to the point where I'm not sure if this is a porn game, or 'just' a bullet hell. Yeah I know it's a bullet hell type game BUT COME ON DUDE IT'S PORN! I or rather we shouldn't have wasted 2-4 hours trying to complete a challenge just to get a mid scene! (The scene animation is good, but full nelson is not worth the trouble...)
P.S. Current game version this comment was posted was Love Maniac 0.3.4 hopefully challenge would have been nerfed/changed by then.
