😁 fair, my kingdom is pretty small.

My kingdom for a modern or scifi version!

Aha a top down spider, sold! Thank you 🙏🙏

I'm looking for top down spider sprites, is there top down sprites included in this pack? I only see side-on / three-quarter sprites in the screenshots.

Dont forget to do a devlog if you release an update!

Absolutely, I'm going in.

Thanks for posting this up Hack Games Longplay. Epic rallys.

So COOL! What a great idea, I kept getting thrashed by Ema and I'm still trying to figure out how to beat her, this is really unique and cute, great job! I have rated!

Thanks whataboi, i made the controls stiffer and less skill required. I definetly found it easier.

hey thats an awesome use case! Love it.

Gorgeous and interesting and clever puzzles, level 3 blew my brains out though. If I was to offer any critical feedback it would be looking to see how you reward the user for completing the level, some form of positive feedback loop, but its a limited time game jam and what you have acheived is nothing short of amazing. All in all, huge respect to your abilities, really good!

Why thank you SkullZ!  I thought it was too easy but then I made it so good to get some feedback from a new player ❤️

Dude! This is epic!

ARGHHHHH SOOOOO ADDICTIVE!

Absolutely delightful, I love it :) I'm curious as to how you balance the release of ingredients and the percentages you use. 😍😍

CUTE!

Daayyyuuummmmm!

Nice work! Really good fun to play

Epic, but that Parrot hates me! I really did try to get along!

Thanks man, I really loved yours  too, I struggled to hit those Islands. Parrot told me I SUCKED a lot :D

Yassssss

Ham you did awesome, great result.  I think your overall percentile was excellent, I came in with similar results, and somehow ranked 99 for audio 🙌

This is a great exercise in itself, but also not as fun a making games ☺️

Thanks so much Umbracode :)

Seriously addictive

That's very kind, thanks FireX😍

High praise coming for you, I really appreciate it, wish everyone could play the latest version though.

Awesome clicker, really impressed and I loved the mechanism!

Thanks peppermint ❤️ I'll take a look at Spin the wind!

Hey Torin, I must admit, i found it hard to listen to her 😂 but it's a common and relatively simple way to get visibility, but still effort for sure.  If people want to avoid creating content (and I include myself in that) then personally i'd look at two other options:

1) Ensuring your game fits into a niche high-demand niche where as soon as you even mention it in the right places you will get at least a bit of traction. For example, a point and click game pushed out to the many point and click facebook/reddit communities. That does of course mean a more money focused  and less passion placed approach, which I'm not particular fond of.

2) Appoaching publishers with a polished demo. This is where watching some Thomas Brush content can be very useful. Then the publisher is the one who budgets for the marketing

3) Emailing journos, magazines, etc

Other than that, attending game shows, approaching streamers and trying to get visibility without creating content ourselves seems like less effective but practical ways too. I was responsible for the marketing for my last project, I built a community of about 7000, on some days got over a million hits on the site (bringing it to it's  knees) with very little content creation, no youtube channel, just emailing bored games journalists and networking as well as attending EIGF one time.  We then got investment but ultimately the game didn't  pan out.  I took a more traditional dev news approach, a blog, screenshots and then posting them about the place and back linking to the blog. I also ran a publically accessible community forum (unlike discord) which helped with the  SEO.

Regardless of all this, if the idea doesn''t strike a chord then no amount of content marketing, emailing etc is going to help.

Really awesome little game guys! Quite challenging too!

So cool mate, this sucked up some time. Love it

Cool idea!

Ahhh man i love this, took me back to classic arcade games, from the sound to the aesthetic. Plus i luuuuurve Pico games. Really great job ❤️❤️

Thanks Soupy!! :)

Really pretty, well thought out, super tight ui and mechanics, really good man! Great work. Enjoyed watching it streamed and played myself. I got pretty lucky with my spins.

Good lord, what a game, gotta be a win contender. Great job.

Epic game man, love those graphics, what software do you use for the art? Slick, well put together and def the most complete game i've played in the jam. Really good!

Downloaded and scanned and all good fellow game jammers, download and rejoice.
Holy cow Mr Sized, you went full AAA 3D in a game jam! And actually got a lot done in the 4 days too! Compelte with tutorial and stunning graphics. I skated around a bit, really cool, I spent quite a lot of time spinning on the floor haha Yes I hit a lot of walls. Good job dude, keep up the stream, midnight here so might not be able to stay awake long enough but will hang in as long as I can. Peace! <Airlock>

you sir have a beautiful mind, what a great puzzle game, lots of content, it really got me thinking and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
