Hey everyone!
I'm a solo developer, and I've just released Shell Shower Defence — a small, chaotic roguelite strategy game about building a military base, fighting hordes of robots, and making some highly questionable architectural decisions.
The twist? Your buildings come in random Tetris-like shapes.
You've got a tiny 10×10 grid to work with, so every new building becomes a little puzzle. Rotate things, squeeze them into whatever space is left, or tear down half your base because apparently nobody thought to hire an actual architect.
And once the robots arrive, your carefully assembled mess turns into an automated battlefield full of bullets, explosions, and general military incompetence.
Between runs, you can unlock upgrades, improve your defenses, and enjoy some wonderfully terrible advice from your increasingly decorated officers.
It's a modest little project with simple pixel art, silly humor, and a gameplay loop that my friends and playtesters seem to enjoy. Hopefully, some of you will too!
