Oooooo, i was getting SO into the world, kinda disappointed with how it 'ends'. Though, I will say, this is the first time I've seen the 'WIP' not have a whole 'coming soon!' screen. That's pretty unique. In a way, it adds to the immersion. Actually makes ya wanna come back and see how it plays out. Pretty cool.
Overall: EXCELLENT entry! Characters are fun, the story isn't too convoluted. Context-accurate H-scene pics would be incredible (for example, you might go through several pages of dialogue before the story catches up to what's occurring visually). The minigames are fun, immersive and *make sense* for the world - MASSIVE. The quizzes reflecting the MC's background as a botanist is a very, very pleasant touch; A lot of developers kinda forget to make those breaks relevant to the story. You didn't. THAT'S proper game design. 👏👏👏👏
Other than some weirdness with text extending beyond the UI, this is beautiful work. It's become pretty difficult finding devs who aren't taking the laziest approach to AI assisted tools, so this is really refreshing. Can't wait to see where this goes.

I gotta be honest: There is no world where having the Guard mode mechanic included in a Visual Novel is going to be relevant and/or beneficial to the integrity of the game/story/product/whatever. A.
B., my only real humble suggestion would be... scrapping ALL of the minigames. The 'Protect Mona' mini was pretty amusing for about 3 seconds - after that, just a waste of time. They don't add to the gameplay, they forcefully break immersion. If it's going to be a Novel based on time-sensitive events occurring or not, I would lean HEAVILY into that. Various story paths that greatly differ from one another is the bread and butter of VN's as a platform for storytelling.
Also, the Art direction is charming - wouldn't worry too much on that; the graphics are complimentary to the story, not the main attraction. Maybe some tweaks during transitions/assets loading (or not loading *Mona Death event*), and this project could be considered polished.
But, for sure, the minigames/survival loop... man. That's something I'd imagine would be found in some Bonus area, to pay homage to some of the experiences (Galaga ftw) that inspired you to develop the project... not a core gameplay mechanic 😝🩵
Didn't exactly read the description, was NOT expecting this to be a Vore novel... still not a fan of the subject, but this is interesting enough to make me wonder where the story might go - IF there's gonna be a deeper story involved. Big shark waifu ftw 😝
Only advice: The Bar image shouldn't be used so... universally. Kinda breaks immersion, feels a bit lazy. I know you can render a black screen, come on now >w>
I mean, you're not wrong 🤣 I'd argue the overwhelming majority of us have been a part of the Art/Gaming/Furry community long enough to know what's up... but it's just really REALLY funny, and sad, to witness beautiful works of Art come into the spotlight, and then never truly blow up 'the way they should'.
Internet's full of abandonware, so forgive those of us that get a little antsy or heartbroken when their favorite Artists succumb to the horrors of Real Life 🥀
Hewwo! First off, this is looking SO promising. I've not played too far into it (so I can't honestly give a full review), but came across a rather game-breaking bug: If you press the Menu button (Esc) during the option to meet the Mermaid, her picture remains on the screen... except you can still 'move' around. I was at ~5 stamina, and figured perhaps continuing to fish/starting a new day would help - it did not, nor did reloading my autosave... which was the only save I'd had, seeing as how there weren't really any dialogue options to play with in the first place. So that's a good hour gone 🤣
Gonna boot up a new save, cause this has been a super fun experience and I'm appreciating the amount effort you've put into making it. The only big QoL change I'd like to see so far: PLEASE, allow for those cutscenes to be skippable. At least during sleep intermissions. Fuck, man. They're like 30 seconds minimum, and VERY frequent. It's almost as bad as mobile ads, except I'm offline and STILL can't skip them. If it was just during sleep, that'd be fine - but some of the gameplay loop involves controls/movement that basically force you to either deal with the cutscenes or play very inefficiently. It holds up progress. 😭😭😭
Other than that... Yeah, dude. Fantastic product, especially this early in development. Great job. 🩵🤙
1. Never been a fan of Polyamory (still ain't)
2. This is one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had. Period.
As a Graphic Designer trying to learn how to build games (trying to learn Ren'Py myself), this is so amazing to see. Normally I'd give an in-depth review of every aspect of your product, but I believe it goes without saying that you're doing a WONDERFUL job. It's hard to reconcile this came from a single (2??) Artist, but god damn is it quality content.
The only thing I can say can be improved are some of the animation times - specifically: the dash/roll mechanic and the time required to ring bells feels clunky, and often the player character appears for a split second during some transitions (I'm kinda hammered right now and can't give specifics, but it's clearly a bug/unoptimized).
Dude. As someone convinced that you're an Ex-Disney Artist gone rogue, I can't emphasize how amazing this product is. It's supreme. I've followed your work for a LONG time, and it never ceases to amaze me to see developers swap mediums for expression. Again, personally, I don't care for the Polyamarous narrative, but this is clearly worth the effort; The art style. The dialogue. The characters? Omg. It's not often we (the community) are afforded the opportunity to experience such a charming world. It's nothing short of Beautiful.
I really want to see where you go with the story, because your Art style is already powerful enough to garner attention, respect and appreciation. You're already pixel perfect in comparison to 99% of everyone who's ever picked up a stylus. We know you can design like a God. But the ability to fully flesh out this universe is what's going to carry this product to the highest echelons of expression.
There truly isn't anything, as a consumer, that I can say 'should' be changed. It's the perfect foundation for a great story. You have all of the ingredients to make a perfect product. I don't know how that will translate during a time where creativity in the Art community is (apparently) dying, but I so badly want to see this completed. It's too good. Please don't give up on this product. I've seen too many ambitious creators bail out preemptively, and they never grasp how important their efforts were.
Great job, bruv. Great job. 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵
For an incomplete product, this is easily one of the most high quality experiences I've had in a NSFW Visual Novel. And this is my 2 cents regarding its progress:
Presentation - 10/10. The graphics are crisp, clean. Beautiful. The are little to no artifacts or bugs. The UI, the flavor. The CONSISTENCY. It's as close as you can get to perfect without having worked on the original show. HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE.
The Story - 5/10. Barebones. This is GOOD. I appreciate that. In a world where Devs keep coming up with more and more highly convoluted and boring world-building that no one gives a fuck about, a bit of simplicity that puts you into the flow of things quickly is WONDERFUL.
Gameplay - 8/10. Talk to pony. Go on adventure. Lewd stuff. Wholesome closer. Repeat. It's difficult to get a more complete and satisfying experience than that, and this does it well. 'Nuff said.
The only noteworthy *flaw* in the experience (besides coding bugs that are more of an annoyance than 'intentionally' disruptive) are the minigames. The minigames are bad. WILDLY bad. They feel like a hilariously effective waste of time that could be better spent appreciating/developing literally any other aspect of the experience. Not the most fun part of the content.
In conclusion, this is *EASILY* a 9.9/10, already. Seriously. This is up there with Amorous, Monster Girl Quest, Harem Hotel... It's VERY GOOD. Excellent, even. This is like coming across Sonny or Epic Battle Fantasy in the old days of Flash Player - you're CLEARLY head and shoulders above the competition. As a long time Artist and Gamer, I'm pretty stoked to see where this goes. Good job. Really good fuckin job. 👌👌👌👌👌
