Thank you so much for taking the time to play the game and write such detailed feedback. I really appreciate the effort you put into it :D

A lot of the points you mentioned are things we've been thinking about as well, and it's very helpful to see them confirmed by a player. This is only the very first public version of the game, and we're already planning a much larger update where we hope to improve many of the areas you pointed out.

We'll also be taking your review, along with the feedback from other players, into account as we continue developing the game.

We're still a very small indie team with a limited budget, so in many ways the game is still closer to a prototype than a finished product. That's why feedback like yours is incredibly valuable to us.

If you enjoyed the game overall, we'd really appreciate it if you could share it with other people who might be interested. It would help us reach more players, build a community, and continue improving the project.

Thank you again for your time, your thoughtful feedback, and for offering to discuss it further. It really means a lot to us.

The Wandering Crusader is looking for Beta Testers! Help us improve the combat system ⚔️

We are currently redesigning parts of The Wandering Crusader's combat system, and before we finalize the next patch, we'd love to hear from more players. Your feedback will directly influence the changes we make.

Since releasing the beta, we have received valuable feedback from players. Based on those comments, we are already planning several improvements, but we would like to gather more opinions before finalizing the changes.

We are especially interested in feedback about:

⚔️ How enjoyable and strategic the current combat feels

🛡️ Whether the different character classes feel distinct enough

⚖️ Combat difficulty, balance, and progression

🐞 Bugs, confusing mechanics, or anything that could be improved

Our goal is to make each class offer a noticeably different playstyle, rather than feeling like minor variations of the same character. Player feedback will help us decide what needs to be adjusted, expanded, or redesigned in the upcoming patch.

You can play the current beta here:

If you enjoy RPGs with meaningful choices and tactical combat, we'd love to hear your thoughts. Every piece of feedback helps us build a better game.

Thank you to everyone who has already supported the project and shared feedback. Your opinions are helping us shape the next version of the game! 🛡️✨

Thank you, Captain Stellar👨‍✈️ It’s an honor that you’ve tried our game!

Gracias amigo!

Great, mate, I'm glad to hear that 😎

Ty!

Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm glad you liked the game.

And yes, you're correct. The game was designed primarily as a mobile game, which is why the game screen may feel a bit small when playing on a desktop browser.

Thanks for taking the time to try it out and leave a comment!

Thank you so much for your review! I really appreciate the time you took to write down your thoughts as you played, and I'm very happy that you had fun with the game. 😊

I understand not being able to defeat the dragon. Part of the challenge is getting a bit lucky with the shop, but there is also some strategy involved. Managing your money carefully, finding and equipping good items, and making sure you have your skill charged and ready before facing the dragon can make a big difference. Choosing a class that fits your playstyle is important as well.

That said, I'll definitely keep your feedback in mind. If the dragon feels unbeatable regardless of the choices made, that's something worth looking at and balancing further.

Thanks again for playing and for sharing such detailed feedback. It really helps improve the game!

Thank you so much for playing and leaving feedback! 😊

I'm glad you found the game and I hope you enjoyed your adventure. Your support and comments really help improve the project.

Have a great time exploring itch.io!

We wanted to share our project, The Wandering Crusader, a medieval RPG adventure that we are currently developing for Android. We recently hit a milestone and the game is now in Beta, so we are looking for players and fellow devs to try it out and share their thoughts!

About the game: In The Wandering Crusader, you take on the role of a crusader traveling through a dangerous world. While there is a main story, each playthrough unfolds differently.

Key Features: 🌲 Meaningful Choices: Multiple paths and handwritten events with different outcomes. 🎲 High Replayability: Random events, changing shop inventories, and unexpected encounters. ⚔️ Strategic Combat & Progression: An equipment progression system and turn-based combat where your preparation and decisions during events directly influence your chances against the final challenge.

Current Status: The game is in Beta. We just pushed a fresh update fixing some initial bugs, and we are fully focused on polishing the core experience. Feedback, suggestions, and bug reports are incredibly welcome and helpful at this stage!

We’d love to know what you think about the pixel art style and the gameplay loop. Thanks for reading, and looking forward to hearing your feedback! 🛡️✨

Gracias :)
