About ct.js, I had high hopes too, and am still proud of my work, but unfortunately ct.js never “took off”, took a good chunk of my life and it wasn’t feasible for me financially. Still, it is available, it didn’t go anywhere and can still be used.
In game engines, I myself moved to Godot. It’s almost a holy grail for me and better for game development for PC/mobile than ct.js. Or anything, really. For web development, I would recommend using smaller libraries than ct.js/pixi.js unless you intend to use heavy visuals. Or pure JS+HTML, works for Whimtale (:
