Thanks again for the feedback.

I’ve made a few changes based on the comments here, especially to make the first SOLO interaction clearer and to improve the path to My Page.

I’m now looking at how to make the interaction itself feel more immediate and dramatic without changing the core rules.

If anyone tries the updated version, I’d be very interested to hear whether it feels clearer and whether you want to play another round.

One intended reason to replay is that your behavior is analyzed over multiple rounds and gradually develops into one of 16 Strategy Types. If that wasn’t noticeable, that’s important feedback — I probably need to make that progression clearer.

Thanks, this is very helpful. The point about the labels looking clickable makes sense.

I’ll consider adding a short prompt in the first round so it’s immediately clear that you need to swipe to change your intention.

Thank you — that’s a very good point. The itch.io page is still too minimal at the moment. I’ll improve the explanation, screenshots, and overall presentation so people can understand the game before trying it.

Thanks a lot for trying it and for the thoughtful feedback!
I’m glad the core idea came across clearly.

Your point about adding more variety between rounds is very helpful. I’ve also been thinking about how to make replay feel more meaningful without making the interaction too complicated. Small changes in the situation or reward structure could be an interesting direction to explore.

Thanks again ! this is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for.

Thank you for the insightful question!

Currently, the intent states and potential rewards are shown in real-time in the bottom-right corner. We’ve also implemented distinct colors, sound effects, and haptic feedback to signal whether inputs are matching or opposing. To keep the psychological element interesting, these cues are only triggered when a certain threshold is crossed, so they won't make the outcome completely obvious.

Hi,

I’ve just published a small experimental browser game called KOU-KRI-KO.

The game explores how people express intention while interacting with another player.

You swipe to express one of three intention states: Cooperation, Defense, or Betrayal. The final combination of both players’ intentions determines each player’s reward.

The game takes only a few minutes to try.

I’d especially like feedback on:

  • whether the game is understandable after watching the demo
  • whether the interaction feels meaningful
  • whether you would want to play again

Honest feedback is very welcome.
