A wonderful skirmish that has characters with depth! Interesting to see the Shadow Stalkers in a positive light!!

Adored this! Of the stories I've read, this is the first to have a unique spin on the theme of consequence. Well done!

Great chase! It is written well, a good cornered animal story.

An alternative ending to cornering an animal is the ferocity and survival instincts that it brings out. Which could lead to a terrible consequence of those seeking to push out the ratfolk.

This was my first OPR writing jam, but man I would love to read the previous stories with Blackvayne! I'm not really a huge fan of vampire stories, but found this fascinating.

Absolutely mind opening read!
