I will admit I did attempt to burn the house down while the family was away.. the pedestrian coming up to the front door repeatedly also kept catching my eye, they feel like some kind of corporate observer.

Following from this, there is something that feels sinister about the game but I can't quite put my finger on it, I like it.

You're very welcome! While the parents were arguing a flickered the light out of curiosity to see if there would be a reaction, from what I could tell there wasn't, so I was wondering if there was any unique interactions in the game if the Assistant starts screwing about.

It is primarily a simulation with tons of random events, as detailed in the full description! Of course there are some plot lines to go down with some characters, such as the Best Friend - which are rather limited at this time - but other than that it is a pure simulation / sandbox!

Is this available for free on version 0.946?

As far as I can tell from the context of the paragraph, is that it's just poor wording and actually means that the Itch version is a version or two behind the Patreon version.

I am also experiencing this bug, I have the downloaded version.
