Hi, i am interested in you playing my first casual release.

52 Pickup:
52 Pickup by CosyGameStudio

This is a card game that should feel cosy. Check the settings to craft it to how you want it.
I hope it brings back memories of having the prank played on you but this time it is meaning ful and overtime i hope you feel happier and more relaxed with a nostalgic vibe.

Probably going OTT, but i am really interested in you playing this and see what you think. If you genuinely like the game we can work together on other projects i have been too scared to release.
The game is Live on IOS & being tested on android, its my wifes idea which is how i feel brave enough to share one of my creations.
DM me about Youtube & Twitch Videos, i am interested in this too.

Appreciate you helping out indie Devs

Someone drops a whole deck on the floor and says "52 pickup". You are the one who has to pick it up. That is the entire joke, and I could not stop thinking that it was almost a game already.

So: 52 cards hit a green felt table, some face up, some face down, in a proper mess. Click a card to turn it over, click a face-up card to pick it up, drag one out of the way when it is covering the card you want. Clear the table.

Then Sorting Mode gives you 84 levels where the cards have to come up in a particular order. It starts at "all the reds, then all the blacks" and works up through suit order, alphabetical rank names, prime numbers, Scrabble scores, and finishes on woven patterns where every fourth card has to match. Each level tells you the rule and how many cards qualify right now, so it is never a guessing game about what the level wants from you.

The part I am most pleased with is that there is not a single image file in the project. No sprites, no atlas, not even a font. Every card face, the pips, the court cards, the eight card backs, the felt and the title lettering are drawn in code at runtime, and every sound is synthesised at boot. The whole thing is a few dozen kilobytes, it stays sharp at any size, and it loads more or less instantly in a browser.

No lives, no energy, nothing that runs out. A wrong card costs you three seconds and that is the whole punishment; there is a Chill Mode that removes even that. Everything in the shop is free, because there is nothing to sell.

Happy to answer anything about the procedural card drawing. It was the fun part.
