Hi, I’ve just put my second browser game, Toast Master, online for playtesting.

It’s an early version and I’m looking for honest feedback on the controls, difficulty and overall gameplay.

I’d especially like to know:

  • Was it easy to understand what to do?
  • Did the controls feel responsive?
  • Was the difficulty fair?
  • Did anything confuse you or stop working?
  • What did you enjoy most?
  • What would you change?

You can play it here: https://crocone.itch.io/toast-master-playtest

Thanks for testing it. Any feedback is appreciated. — CrocOne

Classroom Challenge – Updated Playtest

Thanks to the feedback from my first round of testing, I’ve made some changes to Classroom Challenge.

I’m looking for a few more people to try the updated browser version and tell me how it feels now.

I’m particularly interested in:

  • Are the targets and misses clearer?
  • Is the level progression easier to understand?
  • Do the controls feel intuitive?
  • How far did you get and what was your score?
  • Was anything confusing or not working?

It’s free to play in your browser. Any honest feedback — good or bad — is appreciated.

Thanks for helping me improve it! — CrocOne

Thanks for the detailed feedback  jerkyhips — it was really helpful. I’ve taken your suggestions on board and have updated the game, especially making the misses and level progression clearer and improving the overall gameplay.

I also gave BounceNoid a go. It’s a fun game! Once I got used to the arrow keys and space bar, it became much easier to understand and play. I made it to level 2 and got pretty far, with only two blocks left in the left corner. The ball seemed to get stuck down in the bottom-right corner though, and I couldn’t work out how to get it back across to those last blocks. It could have been something I was doing with the controls, but I thought I’d mention it.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Thanks again for testing Classroom Challenge and for all the useful feedback!

Hi everyone, I’m CrocOne. I’m looking for feedback on Classroom Challenge, my classroom target game.

It’s free to play in your browser: https://crocone.itch.io/classroom-challenge-playtest

Please try a few rounds and let me know: • Are the aiming and firing controls easy to understand? • Is the difficulty too easy, too hard, or about right? • Did anything freeze or fail to work? • What device and browser did you use? • What would make you want to play again?

This is an early playtest, and the game includes AI-assisted code. Honest feedback is welcome. Thanks for trying it!
