I wonder if she's possibly referring to Abel/an Abel stand in. Since in the bible Eve and Adam have to sons, Cain and Able, where Cain ends up killing Able. It wouldn't surprise me if it was foreshadowing of some sort given how tied to religion Cain seems to be

So funny story when I download the game I didn’t see the  psychological horror tag an thought the warning at the beginning was a joke, or at the very most just things mentioned in routes. I also made the mistake of getting over attached.
