The idea is good, as a puzzle platformer. However, the controls were very frustrating and unresponsive. The Jumping is the whole point of the puzzles, and yet is the least polished.
This was fun, I liked the fast pace of the game, its easy to understand and play.
I like the animation when you consume enemies as well. The visuals are well made considering this is a GameJam game.
Personally I would have liked if there is some way to recover health with either an item or after a certain amount of enemies consumed.
Does this Jam game have potential for a full developed game? I would say yes, absolutely, it has the basework for a great game. It does need a lot of polish and content, yes, but the basework is there.
Made a YouTube video, I really liked this and I think it has potential to become a great game. Mouthwashing is proof that a game with this style of graphics, and a space disaster, can be an amazing game. Malfunction has the potential to be like that.
I wanted to play it but the mouse sensitivity was too much, I barely move my mouse and the viewpoint moves all over the place! I even lowered my mouse movement on my Computer's system settings to as slow as it could go, and it still moved all over the place. I quit the game middway because the mouse sensitivity was just too much to handle.
Please consider adding some public domain BGMs to the game (like The Entertainer by Scott Joplin for example), while its okay to play silently, hearing some BGM is part of the Tetris experience.
Please add an Online Multiplayer mode, the only way to play with friends now is if they are all using the same computer, and that is not always an option, especially for streamers. This seems like a perfect game for streaming, but since it doesn't have Online Multiplayer, its not something many Streamers would want to play.
Well, if you want my opinion, aside from fixing the known bugs, having more and more of the Hololive Girls show up, even if its for just one gag (like how Marine does) would be nice. Also, the manual shows that there is an ID card color for the Holostars, so having them would be nice too. You don't need to add more endings in a way that it just copies Papers Please, just more content with the people showing up to the booth.
