Simple and effective puzzle game. It was a good challenge to complete all levels

Really great take on the theme and a clicker game. I really liked the microgames that some of the alarm clocks would have. And the designs and ideas behind them were very creative. Kinda want a bear clock

At least Itchi went out doing what he loved: getting beamed by a fishing pole

Pretty fun spin on pong. Having the bomb ball go super slow to my side and then blowing up not as fun, but at least you can do it to the other guy!

I liked the dynamic hourglass stage, and haven't seen it executed as well as here. I did find it confusing to balance getting power-ups and fighting enemies, and the shooting itself could've been more exact. Music was also a little strange but it kinda fit the vibe.

Presentation was great! It's a good thing I have multiple monitors too. I think that only made the computer more disappointed in my performance though :(

The sfx were creepy and disorienting on headphones. But I found the game itself a little too disorienting, and had trouble navigating the map. The vibe of exploring the darkness with those sounds was a worthwhile experience in of itself though!

Loved the hat animations. The sfx were also nice and crunchy! I didn't really understand the countdowns on the platforms though, felt a little inconsistent.

Premise is simple but effective. I think the game itself looked a little plain, maybe add some rotation to the cogs to make things feel a little more alive. Good job!

"You Stay Classy, Planet Earth" the game. I had fun, and this is a cool concept! But there was a lot to type so I didn't end up making it through the alien part. Good work though, I always appreciate typing games.

Fun concept! I wish there was a little indication of the range of the attack but the feedback from enemies was enough to know I was doing damage.

Solid game! I liked Ollie, he tells it like it is. Ending artwork was cute too!

Interesting concept, but I wasted all my guesses on aliens. I know they're behind this!

Really like the concept and the cover image made me laugh, good job!

Interesting concept, and a nice countdown spin on the "invade people's mind to find out what makes them tick" genre!

I loved the little comic in the beginning! Overall I liked the concept but I thought the minigames could've been a little more engaging. And I agree with Pikpik, too many commercials :p

Funny concept! I would've defrosted the chicken if it weren't for my 12 hamsters escaping :(

Beware my T-pose! I like the concept but the game could use more feedback in combat and when an enemy is defeated.

You weren't kidding when you said the neighbor was protective of their lemons. I spent so much time waiting that I just went ham at the end and got caught. Funny and great art!

Really creative, lots of TLC put into the world, UI, and interactables. I wish it got into gear a little quicker but I see the potential!

Nice concept, it's always fun to see a pure arcade-style game. One more try vibe for sure!

One of the best in the jam for me! Great use of the countdown mechanic, well-balanced, and great art!

Simple but fun game, I can see this being expanded in lots of ways! Reminded me of Disc Room

(1 edit)

One of my favorites of the jam! It's a very cohesive game with narrative, gameplay, and art that just work well together. Could definitely see this as a full fledged indie game! The only thing was that I didn't really see a strong relation to the countdown theme.

EDIT: I thought about it more and I think this is a really good take on the countdown theme! I just felt myself getting lost in the gameplay, which makes you just forget about the timer.

The art looks great, and I think for such an ambitious concept you did a solid job on it. There's little things like not knowing I had to unassign workers from the mill to build the house but that's nothing a few tooltips can't fix. Good work!

I was a little confused by the controls and how the tiles interacted with each other. It made a little more sense after reading the instructions but I wish it were more intuitive. The tile designs were really nice, and the clinking was satisfying!

I liked the narrative! I found the gameplay to be a bit finicky but the mechanic was clever and worked with your narrative. Good font selection too!

Really cool concept! The crunchy noises were satisfying and contributed well to the grim theming of the game. Great job!

all my homies hate lettuce

This is really polished for a 3D game, great job on that. I liked the health indicator for the enemies, really stylish and worked with the sound design well.

Really liked the theming of the game, and there was a good amount of complexity in the combat system. I didn't really understand how many actions I could take a turn though. Great job!

I liked the artwork! The wire connecting the penguin to the battery looked nice

Good commitment to the theme. The auto-clicker felt a little bit like cheating but I'll take it

I'm not great at memory games but I appreciate the concept and execution!

Good complexity in the puzzles, you have to keep your paths open in case you draw a bad path. Had a good time with it!

Interesting concept, a mix of a timing and puzzle game. Good job!

I liked the concept, and the underlying narrative that even though your evolved version could solve the puzzle easily, it's necessary to help your devolved next of kin. Good job!

Concept is nice, and the disruptive feel of the grounding made sense thematically. Good job!
