The tutorial was helpful!

Cool game! Played one full game and already spotted various synergies. :) The minimalistic visual style is also nice. I played on a tablet and it worked well but it would be great to offset the tooltips for touch input.

Thank you for playing and your feedback! Yeah, maybe each deck can get a star/ranking system tied to the achieved score.

Thank you so much for playing and your feedback! Regarding the end turn button: It's currently in an odd state, as I had some plans for mechanics that would require it but currently it could also just simply auto-advance. For your larger question: My current plans involve a mix of meta progression unlocks for new decks and cards, as well as a way of influencing a bit what's in the deck as part of a game setup/"loadout" system.

Ah I see, thank you for taking the time to respond to my follow-up question, that's really useful to know! I've commented in your thread! :)

Thank you for the detailed feedback on my game project, especially on the onboarding aspect!

Thank you for playing and for the detailed feedback! :) I will work on these aspects. For understanding the symbols, did the tooltips help / show up for you? That was the one piece of intro/help I managed to include during the jam and now I need to extend tutorialisation, as you describe. Thank you!

Thank you for playing and commenting your feedback! Yeah, the finale needs to feel more rewarding in its presentation, perhaps also mechanically with some unique final decision or something like that. For the chase aspect, I have some ideas for a meta progression system that I hope can address this. :)

Exciting news - looking forward to seeing how the project develops!

I think the multi-lane idea and the one about pets passing on traits sound particularly promising for expanding the mechnical depth in a fun way. :)

Thank you so much! Great to hear you've played the first deck and found it simple, as that was intended to serve as the introduction to the mechanics. :)

Fun idea and variety of minigames! Love the "trolling" nature of these! :D

Great to hear, thank you!

Very original and creative, love the variety of the minigames/tasks! And a perfect fit for the jam theme. Well done!

Cool, followed you! :D

Wow this is a quite expansive game for a jam entry! Love the hand-drawn vibe and music and the "unstable" fighting stance/mode is a fun way of integrating the theme into the combat part of the game. Well done!

Lovely art and game idea! It fits the jam theme super well I think. Well done! :)

Fun idea and love the writing/dialogue! :D

Simple and fun concept, and feels very polished for a jam game! Love that you got an interesting game out of only a single input button. Could also work nicely as a mobile game. :)

Unique idea and core mechanics, with a nice amount of multitasking and a cool atmosphere. It's great that you even had time for a tutorial, which I think is not easy in a game jam scope. Well done! :)

Great vibe and fits the jam theme very well! Also, impressive level randomisation and effects/polish for a jam scope - well done!

Nice work, I think the idea of the time limit, combined with refreshing it via the gold pickups, gives the platforming a nice puzzle element and challenge. The assets work well together to create a nice atmosphere. Well done!

Thank you for your kind words! :)

Fun jam game! I'm useless at games like this but I made it several screens in and I like the presentation and intro with the dubious bird character - well done! :D

Fun concept with the "poisoned" controls! Perhaps this would need more introduction (why was I poisoned), I think.

Thank you for playing and your detailed feedback, very helpful! I agree, any post-jam extended version needs a better intro. In the current version, I tried to support exploring the mechanics with the tooltips but I think these are mostly effective with players that have played many similar card games, judging by the comments here. Thank you again!

Amazingly polished jam entry, and with a unique and thematically fitting mechanic, too - very well done!

It's simple but fun and I love the somewhat odd theme of dropping cars. :D I think this could be turned into a cool arcade-style game (also for mobile) with some expansions (e.g. some power ups).

The concept is great! Looks simple at first but took me a moment to figure out the controls but then it was really fun. Well done!

Cool concept, I liked the fast decision-making. It's not easy (at least for me) but it was fun to see how long I could keep up! Well done!

This is super creative and unique, perhaps the most creative game concept I've played yet in this jam! Execution feels also very polished already, great work!

Simple fun concept and very polished execution! It also fits the theme of the jam perfectly. Well done!

Great work, this is quite a unique concept and theme! The  simple controls work great with the card mechanic of drawing your next special action(s). Also fits the jam theme nicely, I think. Well done!

Fun idea / twist for the jam theme!

Nice vibe and the core mechanic is fun and perfectly fits the jam theme. Also great work on the detailed tutorial, it's not easy to find time for that in a jam. Well done!

Fun and very polished - besides the core mechanic I really like the presentation with the narrative and dialogue/commentary by the character! Well done!

Very stylish and polished jam entry! Great atmosphere and core mechanics. The movement mechanics were a bit difficult for me but I rarely play FPS or 3D platforming games. Well done!

The wobbly character and controls are fun and really fit the theme! Took me a moment to realise that you have to grab the box from the side, not while in front of it. The sounds/music also fit the vibe - well done!

Unique game idea that fits the jam theme super well! Great job!

This is quite an original concept I think, well done! Nice atmosphere with your art and soundscape. The core mechanic feels fun and fits the jam theme very well. A small suggestion for a post-jam update, if you plan to work further on it, could be to add an indicator for the current jump strength / "charging amount".

Very stylish, polished and satisfying controls and presentation - well done!
