I'm starting a VR Backrooms horror project and I'm looking for a small team to build it with.
I'm handling the 3D modeling myself, and I'm aiming for a liminal, atmospheric VR experience with strong audio design and simple but immersive interactions.
I haven't started development yet — I'm assembling the team first so we can plan the foundation together. I already have references, level ideas, and a clear direction for the tone and style.
Looking for:
• 1 programmer (Unity)
• 1 sound designer (ambience, footsteps, environmental audio)
• 1 texture artist (walls, floors, props)
• Anyone interested in horror/liminal spaces
This is a hobby project for now, but I want to build something real with people who enjoy this kind of atmosphere.
By the way I am not paying this is a project I just want to do but you will get credit.
