Very nice and effective cover/map combo. The layout and design is clean and clear. A strong entry.

A fun, charming adventure with that surprised me by winning me over as I read it. The way you present the map made me grin. Great design choice. Tempering the blade is a fun mechanic that gives PCs a variety of goals that can be completed in any order. A concise way to add a lot of interactivity and provide lots of choices
This is a tough one to review. I like so much of this, but the great 'UI' elements, design, and art are undone somewhat by the sizing and layout. It may be improved by making the columns wider, for more space between sections of text. The map icons (and map) are also a bit too small for my old eyes. Otherwise, excellent work!
I mean, this is art. intricate with inimitable Hodag style that feels stream of consciousness. Meta-commentary that provides enough bones to be actually playable. As a relative newcomer to the TTRPG space, some of it goes over my head, including the likeness of the "gaming legend" that someone else mentioned, but I think the peek into the mind of a GM can be universally appreciated. Very cool.
I love this use of theme! Fantastic art. Good locations and layout. My only quibble is that I didn't quite get the reason that some of the villagers turned into monsters.
Was something about the location or the Crimson or the magic causing them to turn into monsters when they were restless? Or was it only deceased villager spirits that turned into monsters because they were restless?
I think if this had improved layout and information presentation, it would be overall considered a higher-ranking entry. The writing is good, and the art has a really unique, raw vibe to it.
I like that you can cut out the pieces, but I wasn't sure exactly what to do with them. At first, I thought you'd show where the characters were on the map, but they're too big.
I also love the ethiopic script and (I assume) mythology. A really underserved region in TTRPGs.
This was surprising. Really fresh feel that would fit right into Troika! If you mentioned what systems it was or wasn't for, I missed it.
I like this a lot. Really striking oddball design that almost works perfectly, but in a few cases the font or other design choices make it a little hard to parse. Enjoyable to read and look at.
